This is a feature that some of you know about that I've been working on for a few weeks on and off. It's now ready for testing. To test it out, find a game in the Video Game Room that you own in real life and than click the 'Add to Collection' link right under the game's name. This will bring up a form, fill it out as accurately as you can for the most accurate price of what your game is worth. Once you've added a game to your collection, a link on your profile will appear that will allow you and others to see a list of all the games in your collection. You can view my collection here:

(note that I still have yet to add all of my games to it, I have way more than 3)

The video game price guide is a feature that will allow you to look up the price of a game and also add games that you really own to your collection list.

Benefits of adding your games to your collection list:
-Helps you keep track of what you own
-It'll give you the value of each game you own
-It'll give you the total value of your entire collection
-Allows you to show off your collection

Future benefits:
-If you select 'Play', it'll let you know of every other user who has also selected that same game as a game they want to 'play' (great for xbox 360 games where it's hard to find people online to play with)
-If you select 'Trade' or 'For Sale', it'll notify you of users who have added that game to their Wish list (future feature)
-Game Collector Card: Every user will have a generated card graphic which rates their collection and gives a few facts and statistics about it and users will be able to share that card by either placing it in their layout or placing it on another site (and when clicked, it takes the user to your game collection)
-Plenty more that I'm not ready to share yet

Other future features:
-Will include game systems and accessories
-I'll be adding more game to the VGR (not RGR)
-Collection categorized by system
-Collection filter to order your collection by price, date acquired, etc
-A quick add game page which will allow you to add your collection quickly
-A page showing the most valuable games and the newly listed ebay listings
-A statistics page showing which users own the most games for which system and all systems
-A printable price guide for each system
-Charts showing if a game's value is going up or down and by how much
-Charts also showing if your game collection is going up or down and by how much
-Mobile app (more details on that later)
-Plenty more that I'm not ready to share yet

The prices are based on ebay listings and there are some ebay listings that don't get placed in the proper category or under the proper game. On any game page, if you click the 'Price Guide' link, you'll see all of the ebay listings that the price numbers are based on. Currently only staff can remove listings that don't belong to a certain game but every user has the ability to move a listing to the proper category (for example, if you see a game that's listed as 'New' but it's really 'Complete', you can move it). You get CP and Viz for helping categorize the listings but you do have a daily limit on how many listings you can categorize and the staff will monitor this stuff to make sure no one is intentionally moving listings to the wrong category.

EDIT: Since this feature launched in Beta, the following features have been added:

Profile Collection Updates:
-Games are now organized by game system
-Your collection now displays not only displays total value and game count but also the total value and game count of each system
-If user has added gamertag to their profile (just added) and if they've also selected 'Play Online' for a game, it'll show their gamertag in the 'Play Online' column

Game Submission and Edit Updates:
-Condition area only appears if you selected Loose or Complete
-VGA Grade area only appears if you selected New
-Added 'Digital' if your game was a digital download
-Completeness area has been moved to the left and Condition to the right
-The 'Play Online' area only appears if the game system supports online play
-When you Edit or Remove a game, you get redirected to your profile
-When you Add a game, you can click to be redirected to profile, game or search
-Ability to add your Nintendo Friend Code to your games (go to edit your profile to add your xbox gamertag or playstation name which will be applied to all your xbox or playstation games)

Game Page updates:
-You can now see all of the users who own a specific game and additional details such as if they're willing to sell it and if they're willing to play it online

Quick question would there be like a list or games that need it the urls? Either way I would like content adder if I can get that is.

Whoa, nice. This sounds really interesting. It sounds like something that really is worth it. Basically, is it only in the Video Game Room? And, follow up question. If you want to show it off, it just appears on your profile? And, lastly, when you "trade" it, what does that exactly mean?

I'm gonna start using this soon, no doubt. If the answers above tickle my fancy, it'll be something to use.

And, I may be able to help out with the staff positions. I may be able to do one if you sort of lay it out simply for me.

I'm trusted, over 13, and I can help over 20 hours a month. I'll be either if you tell me exactly what to do, like I said before.

I would like to apply for the role of content adder Or ebay moderator, I meet all the requirements except for the 1 year on site, I am 16 and I'm willing to put in 20 hours plus in responsibleity for each month of updating the current prices of games. I have over 4000 cp(4232.3) and I get Contribution Points in nearly every way possible,on game pages like reviews, walkthroughs Ect., I mod two forums, I have 7.9 trust points, and 129,886 as my post experience  and I would overall like to do more for Vizzed and I think I can do that by becoming a content adder by covering all fields of content and adding content to game pages whatever field you need to be covered. Also I am on vizzed everyday taking care of the forums I mod and adding content to game pages.

Davideo7 : May I apply as an eBay monitor? I'm 15 and I am a trusted member with over 3500 cp. I have also been on vizzed for more than 6 months and I have been a trusted member for a while now. I also go on vizzed every single day. I also mod a rented forum and I made some game reviews before. I also have a Youtube channel with over 900 subs and I think that requires some responsibility to maintain.

goodboy : I'll eventually let users add games to their list from the RGR as well but I don't want users to mistaken this feature with anything to do with the RGR. Trading would mean you literally send each other the game's via the mail, most likely users wont be trading or selling games with each other but I added that anyway.

I am very interested in all of the future plans. I really want to help the VGR grow because from just reading this I can see it has a good potential!

I would prefer to be the Ebay content monitor but if that space is full I dont mind the other job.

I am a trusted member and above 13 (well I am 13 but 14 next month). I spend at least 2 hours a day on vizzed so 20 hours of work wont be too much stress for me.

I would LOVE to be a Content Adder or an Ebay Monitor! I will do whatever you need the most! I would prefer to be a content adder, but both are great! I would love to help out the site any way I can! I am 14 years old. I am a trusted member. I am willing to commit a lot more than 20 hours a month, since Vizzed is pretty much my whole life. Probably around 30 hours a week, or 120 hours a month. I have around 2665 CP, which I think is a decent amount for the time that I have been here. I hope you consider me!

Davideo7 : I would like to apply for a role as a content adder, I meet the one year requirements easily and I also meet the Trusted requirements and even surpass it due to Geeo having offered me a Local position replacing Ender. (We're waiting on you for that actually.) I have way too much time on my hands as it is and waste hours away in the chat rooms, I could probably do well if I was given an actual job to do around the boards. And I guess I should also say that I meet the age requirements at the age of fifteen years old. Well, Whether you accept my application or not is entirely up to you. I wouldn't mind the position but I'm not gonna push for it annoyingly.

So I've been on here for Three Years now. I'm Thirteen. i'm on everyday thanks to not being in public school. And i'm willing to put in Twenty Hours or more, I'm on Vizzed 3 or 4 hours a day. Twenty Hours shouldn't be too hard!. I just have to clear it up with my parents. when I do I guess i'll Edit this post. I look forward to doing this job Hope I do a good job if I get the position.

   OMG you did it.......you added a game library! I was hoping for this! I have SOOOOO much cataloging to do now! I've added some so far, the options and layout are simple and easy to use, thank you so much for not overly complicating it. THANKS AGAIN!

   I'd like to also say the only other thing I would like to see are a "Top 10" (or 20 or 100 whatever) rated games by the user in their profile.  Would make it REALLY easy to find the games you like to play and lets others see what games you like the most!

I am just going to comment here, and say that I would be interested in a position as a Content Adder or Ebay Monitor. I end up spending a lot of time on my computer, that I could spend actually doing something. The only problem with me is that I have a tight schedule during the week. Weekends are fine, but during the week, I am bogged down with homework from my AP classes. I will say that I will try my best to do it when I can, and hope you could respect that I do have a lot of work. That's all, choose me if you want, since this whole thing almost seems like choosing a name from a hat.
