As of right now, I'm just posting around a bit in the hopes of finally hitting 6k posts sometime soon. I've been WAY overdue to hit it, nonetheless, I am so close and I'm really just getting tired of seeing 5.9K posts every time I see my username. Once I hit 6k I am definitely going to take it easy, but I really just want to get there already because I set this goal ages ago, and I will feel a lot better once I've moved on.

Afterwards, I am probably going to play Super Mario 3D World on my Wii U.

Well.... I'm posting around, obviously. I'm also contemplating what this upcoming week has for me.  There are so many things I want to do and never enough time, so many people I want to talk to and never enough words, and so many things I want to accomplish and not always enough motivation.

Man.... why do we have to be bound by time?

I did just get done playing a Loony Tune version of the board game "Sorry"... which came from Germany.  That was alright. It was called "Don't Worry", for whatever reason. lol

I am currently studying things or rather I am checking out things that are strongly related to John Titor,Time Travel Theories,CERN and Time Machines lol Yeah,I know is stupid, pointless and a completely waste of time plus I don't have a historical educational background experience when it comes to maths, science, physics and so on in order to support my credibility and self-confidence(in other words I am not smart and knowledgeable enough to be talking about these things)But(and I stress but)it is still fascinating and exciting when you think about the possibility, the very notion of the concepts correlated to space-time topics and the tools that we have at our disposal right now to make the time machine a reality and not just something that somebody can use for sci-fi entertainment like for instance Doc Brown's DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies^^.I am just a normal guy with a thing for time machines, conspiracy or time travel theories.Sooo yeah, aside from this I am interested in watching some anime shows that the American voice actor,ADR director and script writer J. Michael Tatum as been on...Lets see,for example he was cast as the voice for Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler,France in Hetalia:Axis Powers or Rintarou Okabe in Steins;Gate(It must be CLEARLY obvious that I am a big fan of Steins;Gate by now, which could also explain why I was rambling LOL)

Anyways, what else?...Going to the gym, hanging out with my friends and using my computer and Gigaset to do everything that I said in the previous paragraph and moreThat is pretty much what I am doing at the moment(You may go ahead and think I'm a nutcase but at least I enjoyed writing and posting this message)

I just unpacked and ate dinner.

Before I get back into my crazy schedule once classes start, I thought I'd spent a few hours posting on here.

I haven't hit italics in a while, it would be nice if I did tonight.

I am trying not to freeze while planning stuff for tomorrow. My husband is also watching Mystery Diners, so I'm semi-paying attention to that.  It's interesting enough, though probably keeping me from doing everything that I WANT to do.  lol  I'm still going to bed early though.

I am hogging my heater because my husband and I can't afford to always keep the heat on. It's supposed to reach (or rather, feel like) -2 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow, and I am NOT looking forward to it. I'm already freezing and it's only 31 degrees! The problem is that I have one small heater at foot level. I could move it up to my arms, but then my feet would freeze.  There's no way for me to keep both warm simultaneously!

I'm also contemplating my goals and re-evaluating my methods of reading them. I want to get stronger, but my workout program exhausts me and I struggle to be motivated enough to do it. Plus, it generally takes 1.5 hours to 2 hours of my time every day.  If I wasn't working and had all day, that'd be great, but while working... it just seems to eat up my entire night.  I know the program is supposed to be completed over 90 consecutive days, but I'm considering doing it only on the weekends, and jogging / walking / running during the week days.  However, then I wonder if doing the program only on weekends will even have an affect or make me stronger.

Singelli : I don't know anything about the program you are doing now, so I couldn't really say. But I will say that when it comes to strength training, it has been shown in many studies that there is a point where your body no longer benefits with continuing to work out in a single session. 1.5 to 2 hours is too long. Most health studies I have read put the ideal workout time is a 45 minute session. Continuing to work out for much longer than that gives you virtually no further benefit. Like continuing to pour water when the cup is full. Also, are you working out every day? That has been shown to benefit you less. It is encouraged to have 1-2 days in the week where you are to relax with very mild workouts (like a calm walk or mild intensity jog). You need to give your body some cool down days so it can recover, allowing you to do more during your regular work outs. If your goal is to increase your strength, I would suggest 3 days of strength workout, 2 days of cardio workout, and 2 days of relaxed mild exercise. Do your strength training on the weekends and on Wednesday, and split your cardio workouts and mild exercise within the Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. If any of those days are particularly more stressful, schedule your mild exercise on those days.

But increasing strength, the recommended quantity is at least 3 days a week, but not over 5 of real strength workouts. 45minutes to an hour for those sessions.

rcarter2 : When I said the program takes 1.5 to 2 hours of my time, I was counting shower time with the exercise time. The workouts are typically 45 minutes to an hour, though there are one or two DVD's that have an hour workout plus a 15 minute additional set.  Sometimes I take breaks though (especially on the tougher days) which might stretch the whole ordeal (shower included) to 2 hours. It's supposed to be done 6 days  week, but every time I start it, I can't be motivated enough to do it that often.  It wears me out.  (It's called TapouT XT.)

I try to work out 6 days a week, but more and more often I only exercise 3-4 days a week. I like your suggestion though.  It sounds like it would work out better for me, without leaving e feeling so completely exhausted and spent. Thank you so much! (Also, what qualifies as 'mild' exercise?)  You maybe can answer in pm, on my wall, or in my fitness accountability thread so that we don't keep this thread off topic, I guess. XD

Right now I'm ignoring the fact I have to finish my thing on "Romeo and Juliet" by painting a bear model I made back in... October? And browsing the internet, mostly just the DeviantArt gallery's of artists I follow and the Vizzed forum at the moment... Yep... Reeeaaalll exciting.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
