Thief: Oblivion or Skyrim?

 
Do you prefer being a thief in Skyrim or Oblivion This is based on a traditional sneak-thief, along with the thieves guild quest-line.

Personally I like it more on Skyrim, merchants going to sleep helps if you want help yourself to everything they have, and the Thieves Guild quest line is more enjoyable for me. I like to always have a job on the go, so in Oblivion I hated Independent Thievery, if I want to break in to some ones house, I'll do it for fun and it they are rich, and then sell it all to a fence if I want to. I don't want to be forced to do it to progress the quest-line, and a few places to start would help, but do they say any? No. Damn you Armand Christophe!
