Zed - " Captain's log .  December 15th 1956 . Friday . Just made a deal with death. I plan to get out of it but I'll save that for another story . Right now we are approaching the Bahamian shores . Shouldn't be too long before we find the Lockness monster . "  Zed and his crew and ship are now in a series of swamps and bogs which means they must be close . Zed - " Matt . Status report " Matt - " Well we are in the Bahamian marshlands sir. But I am a bit puzzled . How is it that a beast said to terrorize Scottish rivers and bays live all the way In Bahama's swamps ? "  Zed - " Well Matt that is a question that you will have to ask mother nature. Look I don't research I just do my job . " Matt - " Don't you think you should have some sort of information on the Beast before battling it ? " Zed - " The only information I need is that I will not be killed by Scotland . " Just then a bottle with a note inside it shows up in the river that they were travelling in . The note which was within the bottle said " Turn Back !! " and was written in water. ( Strange I know. I mean how do you even read water ? ) The note had to be held down so the water could cast the reflection of the sky and give the  " Ink " Colour .  ( That is how ) . Zed - " I wonder what that meant ? "  John - " Captain. Here comes another one . " The crew fished out the note and this time it said " Hurry up before it is too late "  and was written in water as well .  Zed - " I wonder ? " Luke - " Look here comes a third one . " This one now said " You are too late !!! " . Zed - " Too late ? Too late for what ? "  Immediately the sounds of roaring waters could be heard echoing throughout the swamp .
  
My mom is buggin me to go to sleep so sadly thats's all I can write for tonight . I'll see if I can finish it tommorow

Another nice story Captain Zed! I'll be waiting until your next chapter is done! I wonder what will happen next in the next chapter, looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow!

Luke - " Um...  captain ? "  Zed " I see it too Luke " . What Luke and Zed and every other person on that ship was staring at was a waterfall. It was a 50 foot drop from top to bottom. Zed - " Alright listen up !!! First things first .  DROP THE ANCHOR !!" The current of the swamp they were in was too strong for even an anchor to stop the ship fro moving but it could still slow the ship down . This would by the ship and it's captain a little more time . Zed - " Ok now I want all you to find rope and tie one end to either of the two side of the ship . And throw the other end out of the ship " The crew scattered in search for any rope they could find . In all they found 15 ropes  .  Seven tied on the left side of the ship and eight on the  other . Zed - " Now then ..... Which one of you are good swimmers . Half of the crew ( 14 men excluding the captain and Amy of course  ) rose their hands in response to the question .  Zed - " OK. I want you all to jump ship and take the ends that are out of the ship and tie them to the trees on the banks . One rope to one tree .The crew and Zed dove off into the water , each finding a strong looking tree ., tying the ropes to them . Afterwards they climbed back up on board The Unlucky Charm . Zed - "  Brace yourselves !!! "  The ship was about to go over the edge of the drop . Each and every person on that ship could now only hope and pray.  As the ship slowly goes over the water fall the ropes have not reached their full length . About 15 feet from the top of the of the waterfall the rope starts to reach its limit until they ship stop in mid air. But now the ropes were starting to tear and snap . * Snap * All the ropes snapped and the ship started to fall.  The men and woman were literally floating above the ship due to them having a lighter weight than the ship . Even the captain's hat levitated  above his head until it got stuck on a branch .  Zed - " My hat !! " The ship continued to fall until it hit the water below it with a strong * Splash * . Zed - " I am still alive . Hurray for me "  Amy - " Umm... Zed ? * Points behind the clueless captain *  Zed turns around only to see and hear another waterfall even of greater size and height of the one before Zed -  " Awwhhh Seamonkeys "   Zed  - " Ok. Someone get a harpoon up here. " Five men quickly pushed the harpoon on the top deck . Zed - " Who here is a good shot ? " Matthew - " I have a good eye sir . "  There was an over hanging branch which connected two trees on either side of the swamp . Zed - " You see that branch up there ? I want you aim the harpoon and fire at it . " Mathew - " Ok "  Matt skillfully positioned the harpoon towards the branch and closed one eye. He fired with great accuracy and hit the target dead on. Zed - " Ok Now I need someone to connect the harppon to the bottom of the ship " .  John - " How are we going to do that. We used up all our rope . " Zed - " * Looks up at rope that is used to hold up the sail. * Not all . "  The crew quickly ties the rope to the harpoon . Zed takes the other end of the rope and dives off into the water . 5 .... 4 .... 3 .... 2 .... 1... . Zed pops back up on the other side of the boat and climbs on deck . He then ties the other end of rope to the harpoon. Now the entire ship was ties to the harpoon. About 50 feet from the edge Zed orders the crew to raise the anchor and give the ship as much speed as possible. He also sends some of the crew below deck to row and give the ship even more speed . Amy - " Are you sure this going to work Zed ? " Zed - " It has to . You still owe me to gold pieces for that time I pulled you up on my horse . The ship approached the edge with top speeds and as they went over the rope did not hold them up but rather swing them over the fall. Zed cut the rope with his sword and commanded that all canons be fired at the water below them to scatter the surface of the water and make the impact of landing less intense .  The ship landed shakily but in all got through the falls . The entire crew rejoiced to know that they were alive . Zed - " Am  I dead yet ? "  Amy - * Kisses him * " No your still alive  " Zed - " Yes but now I am alive without a captain's hat "  Just then the breeze blows  Zed's hat off the branch ......... Zed - "" I mean what kind of captain doesn't have a hat ? " * Hat lands on Zed's head *  Zed - " Ohh . There you are "   Alright then . continue sailing. Luke - " Um.. we can't . There is no rope to hold up the sails . " Zed - " Then we and by " we " I mean you and the others , will row until we find a ship that looks vulnerable and take their ropes .  Crew - " AAAYYYYYEEE  !!! " 




Ok that was the end of chapter 5 . What do you think ?

Good as usual. I'm quite interested in how that monster can be terrorizing Scotland from all the way in Bahamas Swamp...
