My answer? Well honestly...despite the fact that sites with inactive site staff members become disobedient, I think if the Locals/Globals/ Site Staff members were inactive, then the forums would still be in control. There may be a ton of threads questioning what's going on, but I highly doubt the community would cause havoc. Because staff members have always been active, the community decided to actually get some brains. I think nothing would really change, except all the concern about them being inactive.

Well this is very similar to my thread here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=64632 , but I guess it is technically different. Mine is about David going inactive, not the mods. Obviously the Board wouldn't turn to chaos. A lot of us know how to handle it, but we don't have the power to actually do anything.

Ovbiously they would just be replaced by another Staff member or elite.


That's what happens to most moderators when they are inactive or get demoted.

Well if the moderators went inactive I'm sure the runner up's from the last local mod application's( and the rented forum mods such as myself) would be hired as the new local mods for the time being and they along with the administrators and David would restore order if anything would get chaotic at all. As for site staff if they go inactive nothing would get affected since there jobs are to add content to the RGR (retro game room) but most members do that already so they wouldn't really be anything out of the normal there. 

Actually there are a lot of mods that are inactive at the moment, but if all of them suddenly went inactive I think what would happen is, that the board would utterly go into chaos. Reason is because people will spam, and the mods wont be there to take care of the situation. I would say though. Davideo7 isn't a mod, but he actually does have the ability to do anything he wanted on here. I think it would go into a little chaos causing bans, and issues to the forums. Some of us on vizzed can control ourselves around here with the adjustments of spamming a little, but other than that the board would be a little harder to control if the moderators were inactive. I am pretty sure the staff trusted members, and Evan some normal users would try to help Evan though they can't technically do anything about the spamming, flaming, and rule breaking etc problem. 

I think the site would be in good control for a little while but then after that many people would get away with spamming and flaming in the forums for a while since only the administrators and the owner would be in control and the three of them are very busy. I know good members like me would likely try to help them out but since only they would have the power to stop the chaos that stuff would likely keep happening until those troublemakers get banned.

Madness. Everything would just go crazy and David would have to hire new mods. There would also be a lot of banning by Geeo.

There would be much more spammy threads created that is about it though Vizzed will pretty much always be the same no matter what and yet even these days all threads seem spammy.

Well the website as a whole will not be very affected if all the mods and admins went inactive (Including David). There would just be more spam which usually tends to be ignored anyways or sometimes a spam thread does become a non spammy thread depending on responses. The only problem would be the website actually shutting down because someone has to pay the bills even though I am sure the website running and all of the visitors pay for it by just staying active and coming on every day. Some people will try to take advantage of the situation but other than that the board will for the most part stay the same just add a little bit more of spam threads and posts. Remember this is a community and enough people are active who would not freak out and keep everything running like normal. Games will still be played and for the most part as much as we rely on the admins and mods to clean up spam and such other than that we do not need them much.

Pfff, dont hold your breath. I remember when the site needed a major mod overhaul because half of them were fairely inactive. The forums were a compleye and utter shambles. If the mods dissapeared people would steadily get braver and within about a week theyd be openly spamming, flamming and swearing.

Well I think that it would be complete chaos if the mods went inactive. Users would get the feeling that they can spam and flame and bump threads or make dupes because there is no one there to moderate them and keep things under control. Basically, it would be a lot harder to regulate things and users will just do as they please with no regard to the rules whatsoever. They need supervision and mods enforce the rules and maintain order in the forums. So if they suddenly went inactive, then users would freely do whatever they wanted because no one would be there to tell them to do so otherwise. I would hate to imagine what that would be like, constant spamming, flaming and no organization to forums at all, I would hate that a lot, and I would probably go inactive myself just to not put up with it. But that is what I personally think would happen. So yeah, complete and utter chaos would follow after inactive mods.

Alright, my opinion on this...

If moderators were no longer around... Spammers, re-regs, users who don't follow the rules, and hackers would gain control of Vizzed. Users would begin to leave, leaving this site devoid of anything until it was eventually shut down. lol

I think that some people might panic and others might quit until they come back and some people might start swearing, flaming, doing bad stuff etc to others.

If all the mods left or went inactive there will be a sudden mob of rule abusers. David's statement of vizzed being a family friendly site will have no meaning since every is flaming. The well behaved members of the site would try to stop this but since they can not ban people the flamers and trolls continue. The good members will start to get aggravated and some will retaliate.

After a week of rule breaking invasion, David will see that every mod has be offline and inactive for too long and will be desperate to give users the role. He may go and start signing up normal members and newbies!!

Someone would say "The mods are away, post moar ponies/touhouz/kittenz" And then the board would flood with stupid stuff, chaos, bronies, etc. I'm sure it's happened somewhere before.

Mass chaos and anarchy amongst the forum and know one following proper posting techniques etc. but luckly that won't happen unless the world comes to an end.

We would just catch a few spammy threads open and maybe three people that break forum rules but I'm sure they would get put down whenever the mods become active again.

I'm pretty sure every forum would just get spammed with like 3 word posts, and then there would be the people who just spam for the heck of it and just go through every thread
