Hi everyone!Does anyone remember this movie?  Now I know what some of you think "Why do you care about that bad(s***ty)movie?"Well for me that movie was good,not the best but it has a place in my heart as a Movie that was about Video Games(which I need in order to survive ).If anyone thinks that this movie is good than please Like or Reply.Cya and Thx

You know, I was the target audience when this movie came out and I'm not ashamed to admit that I like this flick.

When they're playing all of those games in the arcade to practice for the Nintendo World Championships, I couldn't help but think that the arcade in Las Vegas where that scene took place really existed. I always imagined that I would make it there. People told me it was at Circus Circus. So, when I actually made it to Vegas when I was 21 and went to Circus Circus, I was quite disappointed that either no longer existed or was never there.

Despite this let down, The Wizard still holds a special place in my heart.

Anyone who likes the wizard, I would recommend the the 1983 movie War Games (IMDB link).  It isn't based on any console game, just simple command line games pretty much.  But this kid becomes obsessed with a game creator named Stephen Falken, and does some research and figures out how to hack into what he thinks is a secret game of his.  But it is actually a government weapons program.  My description could be a little off on that, it's been a while, but any nerdy computer geeks like myself from around that time period would really enjoy this movie.

If you still have a video rental store in your area, check it out.
