I've watched a lot of anime in my time so this is hard and I will rate top 5 but they are mostly all close to all being tied for second place.

Ok what tied for the last spot I must mention is Earth Girl Arjuna.  An anime not for everyone but it has a special place in my heart and taught me a good lesson in life!

You should watch Death Note.. Bleach.. Full metal achesmist.. Naruto.. Boys over Flowers was great also! I love anime and I try and watch it as much as I can.. I hope these are some good enough ideas for you..
