Barathemos' Pac-Man review? A very simple, yet great

game


Well, you have all played the world famous, and a very classic game, Pac-Man.

Now, we all remember this game as one of the best ideas for a game ever, which

is because it was one of the best games ever made. Sure it has none of the

graphics, or the story of the new first person shooters, but hey, just look at

the game, look at how hard it was to make a quality game at the time that the

game was made, take that into consideration and then read the rest of this

review.

This game, is good. That is it. Good. I will not say that it is just a

wonderful game, and it is in NO way, a bad game. This is one of the best games

EVER, and I like a whole lot of games. This game is deserving in what it has

done for the world, and what it has done for ever gaming fan out there. SO, if

you have not played it, click the top of the page where it says Pac-Man and go

play it. If you haven't played it, you will LOVE it, and that is a promise! (

Graphics: 7


Well, this is a section in gaming history where  it is rare for a game to get a  high rating for the graphics because these games are old arcade games, the game is made to have really good graphics and to exceed in the

playing experience. Alright, so you all should know that?Pac-Man was one

of the first games made, it of course followed Pong and those kind of games in

the making, but it was not TOO far behind. Look at the graphics of Pong

compared to the graphics of?Pac-Man. You see,. at the start of this whole

section of time in which the whole thing of video games was launching and

people were making games even better then before! You can tell that people

really wanted to be the first to come out with a world changing game. The

graphics for Pac-Man have slipped way behind what they are now, but I will

always remember them as the graphics that changed the world.





Sound: 6


Well, the sound for this game is quite simple. There are only a few sounds in

the game and these are them. 1. The sound of the start up screen. 2. The sound

of Pac-Man moving. 3. The sound of Pac-Man eating the little pellets. 4. When

Pac-Man eats a Ghost after eating a Power Pellet. 5. The whole waka waka thing,

which never passed by me as a good sound. 6. The worst sound in the game, if you

are the one playing not if you are the one waiting for a turn, the Game Over

sound. As a gamer, the first time I heard that sound and when I saw the Game

Over on the screen, I was super angry. It was a bad moment in my gaming

history.

I can not say this enough. But I will not say it multipal times here, but I

will say it once. Once I started to play Pac-Man, I just couldn't stop! I

played for hours, and this was my first time playing so I made it only 5

levels, but I played about 100 rounds, These were all online because I didn't

have enough money to play this much at an arcade. I have play quite a few games

at a real arcade, but I didn't play for very long. But I must say, if you want

to get the best experience out of playing?Pac-Man, I would say to go to an

arcade. The playing with the stick on the arcade machine is a? whole lot

better then playing the game online, but I am NOT saying that you should not

play online, it is a really fun game to play from any type of system! I would

just say that if you start to play this, it will be hard to stop!





Story: N/A


Well, I guess that this game doesn't really have a story, but it is a game

where you go through levels. The game is just a game where you are a yellow

kind of circle that is going around eating circles called Pac Dots. These Pac

Dots are the things that you use to advance levels. You collect all of the Pac

Dots in each level without getting eaten by the Ghosts 3 times to move on to

the next level. This just keeps going and going until you have beaten all of

the levels, which I have never done and I don't know of anyone who has ever

done that.

What else would I give this game in depth? I mean, it is the longest game that

I can think of! I mean, try going through 256 5-10 minute levels without losing

all of your lives. You only get 3 at the start but you can pick up more as the

game moves on. The game is huge, I mean, if you can do all the levels and

somehow prove that you did it, like a video or screenshot, then I will bow down

to you and give you a crown saying that you are the Pac-Man king or queen. You

have to have a huge amount of skill, and patience. You will need to take a

whole lot of time out of your busy ( ) year and go out and play play play.

You will have to put long hours into training and then put even more long hours

doing ever single level.

If you have played Pac-Man, then this will just be obvious news and you will

have no reason for reading this. This game, is HARD. Like I said above, you will

have to go through all of these harsh levels and you will need to have a whole,

not boat load but, Yacht load of skill. I am being serious, I have been playing

Pac-Man for years, and I still have only made it to level 13. ( Well, I am not

the best Retro Games player, but I am OK ) You will have to do the best you

have ever done in a game to win this one. Good luck!

Whoa, breathtaking review! You just made me want to play this, I am a old pacman player too. I rate this a 10 out of 10, and I will surely play this thanks to your review.

Barathemos : lookin good man! you keep doing stuff like this and i bet when David quits vizzed he will make you the new owner of vizzed!

A few questions:
1)  What is "multipal"?
2)  How is this a complete thought?
3)  Did you read over your review before you posted it?
I found it hard to read your review.  Quite honestly, I don't get how the users that posted before me could get all of the information from this review into their heads.  Proofreading your review would probably help you out a lot if you want to write staff quality reviews.

mlb789 : The only thing you have been doing right now is saying bad things about what I do. I am so sick of it. What makes you think I don't proofread? I might as well right the best that I can. I don't care if they are staff quality. I only care about doing the best I can do. That is all that matters to me. The reason they could understand it is that they knew what I was saying! So there are a few mistakes here and there, it is still saying what it needs to say.

Stuff that could use improvements:
First off what is up with you're spacing. No offence man, but you're spacing is just crazy.


You should at least contain all information in 1 run with quotation marks and periods, instead of constantly typing a new sentence. ?Spacing out between certain sentence's is not a bad thing, but a lot of this was spaced out in a bad way.

embedding things:

example: Barathemos' Pac-Man review. That isn't really embedded properly. It should be more formatted out like this Barathemos"pac-man review".

3) a lot of this review contained nothing much about the game, Just nonsence about stuff that we already know. When describing the graphics you should talk about what you see on screen. Not about How they changed graphics forever and what not, we don't really need all of that.


4) there is a thing such as too much detail, No offence. Example: do we really need to know what the start up screen sounds like?

5) proof reading, I understand my reviews aren't perfect with grammar, but this is pretty hard to read, like Mlb said.
