I have a properly installed ps3 controller, I use it to play NES and SNES, just wondering if anyone on here has used a ps3 controller to play N64, and how you have it mapped out?  I'm not the most experienced when it comes to N64, since I never owned one growing up.  There's a lot of games on there I want to try out.

Yeah, like mister sandman said, it really depends in the game you are playing. I use my PSP as a controller for game so it's somewhat similar. What you could do for your PS3 controller however, can be the following

X = A
Square = B
Left Control Stick = Control Stick
R1= Misc Yellow Control Buttons
L1 = Left shoulder button
Right shoulder button = Right shoulder button
Control Pad = Control Pad
Start = Start
L2 or R2 = Z

I am pretty sure I got all of the buttons. I didn't have a picture to refer to though XD

jparks34 : The N64 controller is a strange one to get a perfect controller config using anything other than an N64 controller.

Keep in mind that the "C" buttons are usually used for camera functions. Sometimes though, this changes depending on the game.

Honestly you will just have to play around with the config until you get one that's preferable to you.
