Alright guys i have Replayed this game over and over about 79 times and i love it so much that i am going to make a guide for it and be aware this is going to be something i call the no fun allowed guide this guide will be for people who basically want to beat the game logically not picking your favorite pokemon because you like them just picking them because you need them your pokemon will not be your friends they will be your tools oh yeah also this is going to be a guide for people who have already played the game once and want to beat it again so i will not tell you where to go all the time sometimes i will tell you what to do anyway i know every nook and crany of this game so if i say something that is not logical at the moment trust me just go with it it works out in the end but anyway lets get this started 

Day Or Night.....Alright we all know the drill your a boy on a journey blah blah blah but any way here is a tough part of the guide for me at least to choose day or night.....yeah this is actually tough if you choose the day time you will get good pokemon right away but will have some problems midway in the game if you choose night time its backwards you get bad pokemon at the start but if you stick with it they get better like ALOT BETTER but since this is more of a logical no fun guide rather than do what ever the hell you want guide the most logical choice is day time even though that gastly would have helped ALOT its still not worth it also since this is a logical Guide night time might not even be mentioned yet so...yeah BACK TO THE GUIDE

What pokemon to choose....okay yeah i get alot of crap about this but the best choice is totodile YEAH YEAH I NOW BUT COME ON just think about this a bit you will have a decent advantage over fire types and rock types  plus totodile is the only stater that i do take to the elite four i  mean it learns a variety of strong attacks its attack and special attacks are the highest among all the starters and...thats it get it trust me it works out in the end

Alright you get your pokemon yeah yeah group hug but now heres something that i like to do you see route 29 right there..?and you also see that healing device in elms lab...?oh yeah you do good now what i like to do is bring totodiles level to 10 no matter how long its take...and really all you have to do is speed it up so it wont take that long to do 

ALRIGHT next time i will tell you what pokemon to catch what level to get them to and who knows maybe you can fight your rival...but anway see you next good or bad feed back is appreciated hey i dont care were behind a screen you can say anything....wait im behind a screen i can do anything....I WISH-

relinquish022 : Actually Typloshion's Special attack is the highest among the starters, it's all over the Internet for those who want to look it up. However I agree that Totodile is the most effective against the Elite Four because it can even defeat Lance easily thanks to Ice Punch/Ice Beam.
