I like cuppa tea or as some people say a cup of joe, there good for the mornings and good with toast in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of ice tea though, it's ok but nothin special   

I hate tea, the only reason I post is you mentioned ice tea. peach ice tea is the best thing on a hot day, they always give away free samples during the festival here and I tend to go round several times collecting them ;-)

Well, being English, I prefer the hot tea. I drink it every morning when I get up, every noon, every day at 4pm, and every tea time. The meal time, that is.

Yeah I like tea, sometimes I might have ice tea when I go out to eat and sometimes leach tea or something. It is pretty good and it tastes awesome. I like it and I drink it occasionally but not all the time though. I prefer it over coffee though I think it is better than coffee even though I don't drink it much. I do like tea and I think it is awesome, this is a cool thread!

I always drink tea. I like iced tea and green tea. Also, I love this one tea called "Chai tea" my Indian friend showed me. It's really good! I also drink a little herbal tea.

Totts : When going to restaurants, I have iced tea with a lemon. When I'm at home, I just have some hot tea with a bit of sugar in the morning. And I don't know why people relate tea to coffee.

I like both hot and cold tea. For hot tea, I mostly like Earl Grey and Orange Pekoe. Sometimes I might have some herbal tea with honey, but I don't have it very often. The only cold tea I drink would be iced tea (such as Nestea or Brisk iced tea). I also like coffee, but I think I like tea just a bit more.

It's been a while since I've had a cup of tea, but I used to drink non-caffinated green tea a lot, along with some mint tea.  I tried a gingerbread flavored tea once and it was fantastic!  Now if someone could just make a Dulce de Leche tea :-)

Annette : you like green tea? yuck I had that back in primary school and it tasted horrible, although it is very good for upset stomachs   

UFC : I like it because the flavour is very mild/delicate. It goes well with lemon and ginger.
Maybe yours was steeped too long and it became bitter? Green tea is intended to be steeped for no more than 2-3 minutes. If you steep it too long or in straight boiling water, it's not as good.

Annette : Well you may have a point our 4th grade teacher made it for everyone, maybe it was a bad brand and steeped too long   

I absolutely adore tea.  Growing up, my mother always had some readily available in the fridge.  She made the perfect blend of Lipton sweet tea, and to this day I haven't been able to mimic hers.  She called it sweet tea, but then we moved to the south and realized everyone would consider it anything but.

I remember one of the first times I tried another kind of tea.  My ex-boyfriend's mother took me out to a little tea place and I dared to try an iced raspberry tea.  I almost DIED from shock.  That tea was so amazingly refreshing and delicious that I started seeking out other kinds of teas.  I even tried hot teas without sugar, which I never thought I would like.

Now? I keep all kinds of teas in the house. I don't drink them as often as I'd like, but they're there.  I definitely have to take care not to over-sweeten it or steep it too long though, as mentioned above.  Right now, some of my teas that I can mention off the top of my head are raspberry, orange spice, orange, green, black, white, oriental, mint, peppermint, and lavender.
