I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan recently and I'm a soccer player.  My wife was on Craigslist and found an ad for an indoor team looking for a guy to play.

I emailed the guy who said, "Call me, we'll talk real quick."  I did.  He answered and had a very feminine voice and a stereotypical 'gay' speech pattern.  We talked, I explained my experience and he said to come out and kick the ball.

He ended the phone call like this:

Him: "By the way, if you didn't pick it up, I'm gay.  The team is (co-ed) mostly me and some gay friends.  We don't prance around and make out on the field and no one will pat your butt for a good play.  If you're not comfortable, I understand and I'm not offended."

Me:  "Are you guys any good and do you pass the ball?"

Him: "Yes."

Me: "Great, I'll see you on Monday."

The nicest part is the coed part.  There are a few girls on the team and they bring friends to watch.  We go out drinking after games and I have a bunch of girls and I'm surrounded by gay guys.  The odds are extremely stacked in my favor.  And the team is good.  It's the best of both worlds.

Well, I actually have a couple of gay friends, in reality most of my male friends are gay, and I have a lesbian friend. We get along very well, although we get called names and get picked on a lot in our class, since most of the other people who go there are Homophobic.

I don't know if this counts as this, But I am actually Bisexual, I actually have had a boyfriend and girlfriend (Not at once, of course) I also get picked on the most of my friends because of this, and I don't like it, since me and my friends don't actually do anything bad on other people, and we always try to be nice. Even one of our teachers (who is extremely christian) makes fun of us, and seems to not like us a lot because of this.

And for the record, just because someone is Bisexual, that doesn't mean they are a "Swinger"

CLOSET OUTING TIME!

Yes I am gay. Now to answer some questions:

-Do you have any LGBT friends? What are your experiences with them? Maybe they had to ''come out to you''. How did you react?

OF COURSE I HAVE LGBT FRIENDS! I'm gay myself. From my experience, the LGBT tend to hang together, especially in High School. They need to with all the crazy people in the world. My experiences with them? Like anyone else with any of their friends. They DIDN'T HAVE to come out  to me. I already knew. XD So did they. LOL!

-Have you ever seen any LGBT-related movies,, heard any music, watched shows like ''The L Word''? What did you think of them?

BrokeBack Mountain. I was teary-eyed at the end. Such a long relationship for it to end so tragically. If I was them, I would run the hell away from that town to live together and not be so sucked up in trying to have a front with a wife and kids. That to me is too much if you love someone unless you are considering kids with that person and marriage. Oh the music. Some links (you going to love this):

WARNING: NSFW. Contains explicit swearing and very homosexual material. If you don't like this already, then its not for you. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

-Have you ever dated someone who was LGBT? What was your experience like?

I would hope so. I'm not gay for decoration (although some would beg to differ). The experience is just like any relationship. You have your ups and downs. You fight, you make up, you make out and your friends again. The relationship I'm in now has been for over a year already. I love him but OMG IS HE THE MOST IRRATATING PERSON THAT I EVER KNEW!

-Has anyone who's LGBT had a crush on you and you were just plain uncomfortable with it because you're straight?

I just "came out of the closet". Irrelevant question. NEXT.

-Or if you're gay/lesbian, has someone of the opposite sex ever crushed on you? How did you feel?

Okay, THIS I can do. YES. They have. I was very uncomfortable. I wanted to tell that woman off, but she was psycho anyway, so saying ANYTHING would probably be unhealthy for me.

-Have you ever seen two people of the same sex doing ''stuff' together? How did you feel?

Yes, and I was excited that I'm not the only one in the world that doesn't give a s*** about what other people think. I love people that could care less what other people think. Love is love, not gender. If it is to you, get over yourself.

-If you're LGBT, have you ''come out'' to your parents? If so, how did things go? If not, then do you plan on doing so?

Yes, I have. First they where disappointed about it, but in the end they practically already knew. They love me and that love didn't change since I was a child till now. My parents are awesome, although irking sometimes. XD

I personally am bi, and currently have a girlfriend. Although I do also have a massive crush on this other guy, he seems really nice and funny, not to mention very attractive. But this is for something else. I first realized it when I was in health, and it was the sex ed portion. We were going over human anatomy, and I realized that I think the female reproductive organ doesn't look very appealing. I personally don't care what people are, if you have an awesome personality, then that's it. Although being attractive is certainly a bonus.
