My favorite type is dark types they have a high attack but their defense can be really low at times but the higher the attack the more damage a Pokemon does.

I like water types, mostly because they can defeat both types like fire Pokémon with hydro pump or water moves, and grass type with ice moves like ice beam. I like swampert as my favorite water type, he is also ground and he is very powerful. I tend to just like them more because of that reason. But I like a lot of other types of Pokémon, like dark and dragon types like hydreigon!

I typically like to choose water types since they are usually well-rounded when it comes to stats and can almost always learn a move with the type they are weak against, so I guess I like the variety of moves they can learn. And even though I typically like to choose water, there are exceptions of where I will choose either fire or grass, such as in the Kanto region I like to pick the fire starter Charmander due to my personal liking of dragon Pokémon and although it is not Dragon-type itself, it can still learn powerful dragon-type moves such as outrage and it still has dragon looking traits in its appearance as many can see.

Well Electric type should be a choice since Pikachu was the starter Pokémon for Pokémon Yellow,but I tend to choose fire types because their stats are just superior to the other two types starting out.

I like grass type starters. Bulbasaur , Treeko , Turtwig , Snivy and Chespin are all great starters are all good starters. The only grass type I don't like is Chikorita.
