I am here to tell everyone why people act like morons in horror movies.

In horror movies, the creators are supposed to make the audience get involved.
So on purpose, they make you scream at your screen and say "DON'T GO IN THERE!"
So they get an excuse to kill someone in movies, they use this over and over and over again in horror movies.
Or it will get boring.
Would you look under your bed to see if an monster/killer was under your bed?
No way!
No one seems to run outside but they lock themselves in the bathroom.
If you see the poltergeist, a guys face melts while in the bathroom.
So you might as well just run outside and leave there forever.
But that will ruin the whole story and the conclusion will never be revealed.
This is why they stay in the house or such with a psychopath killer.

I always thought that they made the characters so stupid that we sometimes wanted them to get killed by the monster. I know I felt that way with some of the Halloween movies.

I always figured they acted like idiots so that there would actually be a plot, but it does get old after a while. Though the thought of doing it so that we wanted them to be killed is pretty interesting. XD I like that. Ah, who knows. It's not like it's ever going to change though despite how annoying it is most of the time.
