These seem like good ideas. The alternate age ratings for games would go well with the idea that I posted up: the ability to switch what box art is displayed.

Those are excellent ideas. Following your cheat code suggestion, for the next RGR plugin update (if there is one), we should be able to use those cheat codes with the RGR plugin in other systems besides the SNES.

PacmanandMariofan : I agree, as long as it doesn't affect the primary emulator used in competitions, which is Mednafen.
However, plug-in updates are time-consuming as well as costly, so I don't see that happening in the near future.

DrakPokeMaster : Yes. The only system we use for high scores and competitions is Mednafen, which has no cheat options. Most of our competitions require the user to present video footage of their game session. The emulator itself has a built-in video recorder used for submitting said footage.

When the plug-in was created, most of the emulators were edited to suit the site, and as you will notice, many of them no longer contain some of the core features that they originally came with. This was a measure used to prevent cheating in the past, but often no longer applies. It would be nice to see some of these emulators get their cheating and speed features back, but I doubt that will happen any time in the near future, if ever. Plug-in updates are costly, and it is unlikely that there will be any more for quite awhile, unless there were some sort of emergency.
