I just wanted to formally alert everyone that the Mupen64Plus Emulator of Donkey Kong 64 has graphics and game play issues. The site already warned users however, the 1964 Emulator also has the very same issues. For both, you cannot progress beyond the introductory cut scene. This was a game my cousin was excited to play and we were both disappointed with this revelation. I sincerely hope these issues are remedied at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I had the same problem with every N64 game and I figured out a solution (and it's so simple, thankfully). On the upper right corner of the area the game is displayed in it says plugins and then it lists 3 plugins. The Rice plugin is the default plugin which is causing all the graphic issues. The Arachnoid and Glide64 plugins work perfectly for me on all the N64 games I've played. So just click on Arachnoid or Glide64 and see if that works. If it doesn't, then you should contact tRIUNE because he should know how everything works.

YamiJA66 : I'm sorry for the trouble you are having. With regards to the N64 games, it's always good to try the different plugins found in the upper right hand corner of the screen. A lot of times this helps. Sometimes certain N64 games just don't emulate well. This is why we have multiple Emulators/plugins available for you to try with each game.
