I was actually going to make a thread about this soon.  I understand that there are save files in the Plug-in directory but I have never been able to find them.  I would think it would be possible to use them on other emulators.

They can be used in the emulator that they were taken in. So if you used the visual boy advance emulator on vizzed and make a save state these save states can be used on the visual boy advance on yor computer. But if you download the mednafen on your computer the save states from the vba on vizzed won't work in the mednafen.
