Well I love mostly all types of games. With the exception of dress-up games... I just- find it boring when played digitally as I'd rather dress up a real doll and make it wear some accessories, now that is fun!

Hmm .. interesting question. I like all types of games to be fully honest, it really depends on the mood I am in. I really like action games and RPG's! They're a lot of fun and are really great when you've nothing else to do. My favourite games are the Pokémon games, they're actually amazing and A LOT of fun! I'm sure everyone's tried the Pokémon games out before, if you haven't I really recommend that you! GBA games are the best.

I would say I like Action/Adventure RPG's best. You know,

Final Fantasy, as well as tactical strategy RPG's like Fire Emblem.
You also can't go wrong with a good fighter like Guilty Gear or
Super Smash Bros. I also can't say no to a good hack n' slash
game like Ys. But over all, I mainly go for story line rather than
game play style. The style just determines what I'm in the mood
to play at the current moment. Lol.

My favourite type of video games are either 3D platformers, or third-person action games. I guess I woud prefer third-person action games, as IMO those games have evolved well over the years while the 3D platformer is more or less a dying breed. Perhaps Sonic: Lost Worlds will bring 3D platforming back?

I like rpg's quite a bit like pokemon,suikoden,final fantasy,tales of legendia,kingdom hearts etc medieval themed ones in particular (Though I never cared much for games like Zelda).
I also like fps games.
I never really liked most sidescrollers that much with a few exceptions like sonic though that might be because I suck at them lol.

I prefer RPG's first and foremost, because it's you against the game and you usually get a pretty good back story to go with them. To play with my friends I prefer sports games because they allow for us to have open competitions amongst a group of people and my friends are pretty competitive.
