Now everyone my dsi post was a success on heling me now. But since i got more money and tootk some out now im wondering ps3, xbox360, or wii. Just dotn say your sytem cause you have it and again i want your honesty.

Honestly I don't like any of those three for different reasons each.
I can't in good judgement recommend any of them.

I can list the things I don't like about them though.
Wii: Too many gimmicks, not enough good in depth games, its a "family" gaming unit.
PS3: Too expensive, not enough games.
360: Console prone to fail, games are too easy, XBLive is filled with noobs / jocks.

Really it comes down to what you want to use it for.

I have all three systems. Each system has it's own advantages.

The new Punch Out alone makes the wii worth getting. The problem with the wii is that the motion sensitive controls are eratic on almost any type of gaming genre (shooters, sports, especially sports games.)

The best games with the most depth are all on the Playstation 3. It is easily the most capable system of the three. The problem is that the software hasn't quite caught up with the hardware yet.

The 360 is a middle of the run system at best. The online shooters are generally better than what you find on the playstation, but the system is prone to failure. It has been dubbed the 'ring of death'. Twice now i have turned on my 360 and a flashing red circle appears around the power button. When this happens you will have to send it in and wait 4 to 6 weeks for them to fix it or send you a different 360. Also, the xbox live games lag quite a bit when ever there is a decent amount of people playing on line. This will happen no matter how good your connection is and it does get annoying. But if you like Halo and Gears of War then it might be worth it cause both of those series are pretty sweet.

Overall, I would recommend the Playstation 3 if you're anything less than an avid gamer. It doesn't have as many games as the 360 or wii. But the games are typically better (the metal gear series is undeniably the best), and there are still enough games that you won't run out of good choices unless you play ten hours a day, seven days a week. Also, there are not as many bandwidth problems as with the 360.

Yo, the xbox and ps3 are geared towards the older crownd, so the games are much more war like and guns and etc. The wii is nintendo, and they have a fair amount of both for young and older.I was trying/hoping to get a ps3 for chrsitmas,, but i got the wii, and it is still really fun. hope this helps.

If you're a casual gamer, I'd go for Wii. It has a ton of casual games, just not many hardcore games.

If you're a hardcore gamer, it's a tie between 360 or PS3 because they both have many great games. They both mainly cater to casual gamers, but there are more hardcore games on 360/ps3 than on the Wii.

I know this because I own all of them. Seriously, I do. I don't hardly have any Wii games because most of them aren't that good... I have a good bit of PS3/360 games because there are more hardcore games for them.

I think you should get a xbox360 because it has good graphics fun RPG games play online

I think you should definatly get the wii because you get exercise while playing your favorite games

I don't agree, the Wii does not really give you exercise because you don't have to fail about like a fish like they do on TV.
But you can (will) get RSI (repetitive strain injury) if you play with it often.
Only good for partys and casual gamers, not for hardcore gamers.
And theres a Wii sitting right at home just in case you think I'm bashing it with no experience

If I could buy one of the three I would either go with Xbox or PS3... wii is too family friendly for someone like me and my type of games Why not just save your money and play games for free on Vizzed and Get Your Rom lol.

All 3 systems have the good and the bad making all 3 of them succsfull in their own right but the best console for a real gamer is without a doubt the xbox360 far higher in graphics and gameplay only slight downside to the PS3 is sometimes depending on which games you like is the lack of titles or at the same time as the PS3

The best all around system is probly the Ps3. You can play blu ray movie, rent movie or buy on the playstation store. Listen to music. surf the web. FREE online game playing. And the price is going down on the Ps3 it is no longer up in the 600 dollor range.
XBOX 360 i dont no lot about but my friend bought a 360 and it broke in a week. 33 percent it will not work
Wii is becoming gay. They making games that your grandma can play. Mario is no longer nintendo major game instead it is MUSIC, Wii Fitness. I thought it was cool with wii sports but now they went way to far

i would say a ps3 becuase it has a bluray player and also uses regular dvds and + online is free not like the xbox360

Hnads down the ps3 has the best performance, blu ray player for dollar value.
They do have alot of games and getting better support, don't forget the other half of thier titles are online. If you don't feel like playing, then you can go online to playstation home, which is like a virtual sim were all ps3 players are online hook up, chat, play games.
To me it has alot of options, and of course the playstation store online were you can play games or buy movies to downlowd.

I almost forgot folding @ home, which is the only console based distributed computing for stanford university which in a sense trying to find a cure for cancer, parkinsons, alzheimers, and so on. yada yada.
Anywho i own one and it is the cats meow, but i recommend buying an older one. One with the card reader in the front and has 80gb.
It has to have both these features, you can research it on wiki for model #. Because it is the only one that can play all ps1, ps2, and ps3 games.
They took out the ps2 chip on later models for cost reduction so no ps2 games on new models.

When the ps3 came out, they lost $250 for each unit they sold, with all the new hardware and and features that it cost them more to build than for what they sold it for. It is very powerful system.
For example Heavanly Sword was for the ps3. why? Cause the ps3 was powerful enough to play it without sacrificing the game, imagine literally having over 2000 charactars on a single map. xbox or wii can't do that.

It really depends what typ of games you play depends on what system you should get.
Wiis are more for casual gamers, aside for a few titles and ports from the GCN.
If you are a hardcore gamer it can be fun for a little while,but the lack of good hardcore games (the ones that Nintendo promised before releasing the Wii i might add) may make it boring pretty fast.

360 is for people who prefer to play online with there systems, not to mention they have all of the other systems beat when it comes to FPS games, not to mention a lot of there games (GTA VI as an example) get exclusive DLCs, but there is a widely known risk to going online with it (not going to say the name because of possible flaming that will probably occur after).
I would recommend the PS3, it costs alot more then the others, but the graphics are beautiful, and if your into game series that have made there last title on both systems (DMC4 as an example) it will feel more natural then having to get used to a whole new controller layout, and it can also play Blu-Ray discs on it. Plus PSN is free unlike the other two systems, only lacks with the PS3 are it costs almost as much as the other two combined and it takes ALOT longer then the 360 to install games.
If you were going to get a PS3 you should might as well spring for the 160GB, the memory is worth it, plus it comes with a really cool PS3 exclusive game, Uncharted Drake's Fortune, which is surprising considering most systems get bundeled with crap games from youd find in the bargian bin.

Basically which system you get really depends on how much and how your going to play on it.
