Day 1 - Finally Got Some Props. So... Monday started off like any other work day... Woke up, and did not want to. I mean, who does? Who wants to get up on Monday morning, and go to work, especially after a 3 day weekend? So, I got up, got dressed in my P.T. Uniform, and went to P.T. For a company run. We did an ability group run. Roughly translated: Run groups based on P.T. Test 2 mile run times. I was B group, since I ran a 14:12 here on the island... crazy stuff. I fell out shortly after we started... My spine was killing me. Group C finally caught up to me, and I feel in with them, running some here, and walking there, catching up, and repeating the cycle until we made it back company. We stretched out, and then I came to my room to get dressed, and ready for Monday inspection.So, it was time for Monday inspection. We had our battalion formation, and when I got there, I was asked to be in the front rank. Usually, I am told to get towards the back because my boots are not the best. Today, I was 100% squared away. Battalion Formation went good, and then it was time to go our company's motor pool for the actual uniform inspection. My platoon sergeant, who always finds something wrong with my uniform, was speechless, because there was nothing wrong with my uniform. I was perfect. I almost thought I was going to get the day off. (NOT!!! XD) After the inspection, I went and changed into a less... presentable uniform, and then went to PMCS my truck. After that, I had to kill some time, then I came to room, took care of a few things, and then went back to work. Mostly, I talked to my fellow soldiers, getting advice and asking questions for the rest of the day. Then we had our close out formation, and work was over. Once work was over, I came back to room, took care of Vizzed notifications, Facebook, emails, and watched a video or two, before forgetting that I had to drive 20 minutes to go to a friends house that I spent the weekend at partying to get my boots and tennis shoes that I left there after cleaning them. I came back to my room, watched Legendary, and then went to bed. That was Day 1 of A Day in The Life of a Soldier. Day 2 - Stuck In My room with A Stomach Bug. So, yesterday was pretty uneventful. I got up for room inspection, passed it like always, and then got dressed for 1st Sergeant's P.T. . On my way out to my car, I threw up 3 different times in about 2 minutes, and I was looking like crap. I got to where we were going to hold out formation, and was told I looked like crap. I was asked if I felt alright, and I said that I felt like crap. I was asked by 4 different NCO's if I wanted to go to sick call, and I said no, that I would tough through it. After telling 2 of my squad's NCO's, my team leader, and my squad leader that I did not want to go to sick call, my Platoon Sergeant told me that I was going to sick call, whether I wanted to or not, because he not want me passing out during P.T. So, I eventually made it to sick call, and got an appointment right away. I was told that I had the stomach bug that has been going around, and that I was going to have quarters for 48 hours. The rest of day, I fooled around on my computer, and watched a few movies. At first glance of the idea you posted??? I was thinking of a way to talk you out of it.
(I am Traditional. Sue me.) After a couple of pages I see that you are being careful. I dig reading my grandfathers old W.W.2. Letters to my Grandma. This might be fairly cool if it can work out right. Keep the notes for the ten year period rule so we can get a directors cut of the work later. It would be fun to see who is a fan of the story years later. Then see what was going on behind the scenes. Plus the fans reaction. I dig projects like this. This might be fairly cool if it can work out right. Keep the notes for the ten year period rule so we can get a directors cut of the work later. It would be fun to see who is a fan of the story years later. Then see what was going on behind the scenes. Plus the fans reaction. I dig projects like this. Day 4 - Great Day with Some Crappy News So, yesterday, the day started off good. Everything was fine. No P.T. Because of Thursday training. And then, about a third of the way into it. I got a text. I do not want to have to go through it again, so I will just give you a link to the thread I made about it, which can be found here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=57922 After I got that news, I was heartbroken. When I finally got off of work, I got home, and asked a friend if she would Skype me, to help me get my mind off my grandmother. Well, after an hour and a half of bull jiving, it turned into me asking her if I could pick her up for a date, to hang out, to get to know each other since we have not known each other that long. She agreed. I took her to dinner, and to see a movie, the cliché kind of thing, but we both enjoyed it. We watched Oblivion; confuzzling movie, that one is. When I finally got back to my room, it was midnight, and I had to get up at 5:30 for a 6:00 P.T. Formation, so I fell right to sleep. And really, that was all that happened. Day 8 - Monday... Ugh So, Monday was just like every other Monday. We get up earlier than we want to after the weekend, and go do P.T. After P.T., I came back to my room and put on my good uniform for Monday inspection. After inspection, I changed into a more... stained uniform, I guess would be the best was to put it so you guys can understand. I threw on my coveralls, and got to work PMCS'ing my truck. ( I will try to get a picture of it this weekend, if not next week or sometime in the near future.) After that, it was time for lunch. I had a thing of bread sticks from Dominoes. After that, I went back to work, and got with one of my NCO's, because we had to go do something. We were told to come back at 1500 (3 PM). We went back to the motor pool, and then went back at 1500. It took us awhile, but we got done what we needed to. Then, it was back to work until final formation, and then I came to my room. My buddy fixed my Guitar Hero Guitar over the weekend, so I went and bought a new Zippo, since I had lost mine, a pack a cigerrettes, and some batteries.
