Some of you did not take advantage of this day. It was an easy day so there should be an abundance of positive points flowing around the area. Eva has now entered the top 5, but she's got a long way to go to break the top 3. There is now a battle between Singelli and pray75. Which one will be better than the other? One thing I do know: The better of the two has to be from Alabama.

Because the questions are really simple, I'm not going to bother with providing the results. You should be able to find all the answers on your own.

What?? So little participation on these two days...ok, I'm gonna make this decision. I am going to extend the Day 21 till tomorrow midnight. I will also reopen Day 20 till tomorrow midnight, because some of you didn't do this one, and I don't know about you, but this is probably the easiest quiz that I made, so you are missing an opportunity if you did not do that one. Since I didn't reveal the answers because it was THAT easy, I am opening it up so that you have your last chance to take this opportunity. The Slings will NOT be in affect for Day 20 and 21.

I took day 20, the one about Paul's trips, and I am pretty sure I got it wrong. However, I was not able to take the most recent one... any idea why?

I was actually debating between two different answers on that last quiz.  I knew three of them Paul HAD been too, but I didn't remember the last two being mentioned at all.    I hope that my educated guess makes me look educated.

I'm with pray75, I love how much I've been learning, and I still insist that this is the best competition in vizzed.  I have absolutely adored participating, and I'm amazed at the questions you think to ask.  I wish I had the intuition to make things like this. ^.^

First of, can I just say that I was really REALLY surprised of the sudden increase of activity going on in this forum when I got back from work. Did someone do a forum wide Bible Study without me? Anyways, I have a lot of reading to do with all these "new" indicators all over the place. 

Day 22 Question 20 and 21 is now officially closed. Got some really interesting results, but I am going to put them all together. First parenthesis is Day 20, and the second parenthesis is Day 21. Most of you have already seen your results from Day 20, but I'll keep them there for consistency sake. Here are the current standings:

Top 4 players all lost points on Day 21's question, making the ranking from 3 to 6 a tighter race. What I did not get about the lost of points was how quickly they answered them. Some replied back saying that you have no clue, and yet you risk answering with 10 seconds of the time limit to get double negative points. You should have gave it a little bit more thought and killed the clock a little just to be safe. (or not answer the question, but some of you are sooo determined to answer every question). mrfe and Eva didn't participate in Day 21, which may work for their benefit. However, because mrfe had a better score from Day 20, he is now back in the top 5. What's interesting is that the two players who did get Day 21 correct is Hoochman and thing1, which thing1 slipped by to get 7th place. What I don't understand is why he doesn't try the easier questions from Day 20. That would have boosted him to a higher rank.



Like I said, I will not be providing the answers for Day 20, because there is so many of them and these are actually really easy questions, so if you really want to know a specific question, PM me and I can let you know.



Now for the answer for Question 21: 



Where did Paul NOT go during his missionary trips?




You have 5 choices, and some of you might be more familiar to the map that shows Paul's 4 trips. Some Bibles have them on the back index section. Now, it's time to explain each of these locations.

Berea: A lot of people chose this, which is very interesting to me, because I thought this would the more obvious choice for Paul to actually be. In Acts 17, Paul and Silas were in Berea preaching to the locals, and these people were well-known in scripture to be people who test what Paul says with scripture, studying and see if what they say is true. You might sometimes hear me say "be like the Bereans" because they are great examples of Bible study-ers and test everything with scripture to see if what they say is true.

Athens: Well known as one of the city states of Greece, this place is also known for their philosophers and open forums. This is also the place where Paul famously used one of their gods, "The Unknown god," as a springboard to tell them about Christ and the Resurrection of the dead, and Christians were converted there. Also in Acts 17.

Lystra: One of the first couple of places that Paul and Barnabas went. This was also the place where Paul healed a crippled man, and the locals mistaken the two of them to be Greek gods that came to earth in human form, one as Zeus, one as Hermes, and wanted to worship them. They tried to stop it, and long story short, they were persecuted. (Acts 14)

Antioch: Also one of the first few places that Paul and Barnabas went...actually, they've been here a couple of times. A well known incident is when certain Jews were envious of the crowd that Paul and Barnabas were gathering, and they tried to teach things contradicting to them, and it is where Paul strongly told them that since they reject this message, the message will go to the Gentiles (Acts 13)

Cyrene: This is the correct answer. It might be hard to pick this, especially when this place sounds somewhat familiar (Simon of Cyrene). But if you know your geography of the Roman Empire, you might find this to be a no brainer. See, Paul's trips have covered from Asia to Europe, even sailed towards the islands between the sea. Cyrene, however, is in Africa, in modern day Libya. Paul never set foot there during his trips. 

Question 23 will be up in an hour. May I remind you that you have only have 6 days to be able to use the sling. If your sling was refunded because they didn't answer the question, you can still use it. Remember, 6 days remaining.

play4fun : The reason I did not play on Day 20 is because when I took day 21's test, I tried to take day 20's, and it said it had been taken down. :/

play4fun : yeah. I just took it. Strange... every time I read the bible... you ask about what I have read. That is the 2nd time now. I have spent the past month reading Genesis and the... I forget the phrase... but the 4 books about Jesus. Remember... I am agnostic, but still study the Christian ways. And I need to learn how to spell names and places. >.< That was embarrassing.

Ah man!  I had a 50/50 chance of getting that question right, and I just happened to guess wrong!  haha!  I was trying to decide between Lystra and Cyrene, but whereas I remembered stories in the place of Cyrene, I didn't remember any in Lystra.  What a shame!

The format of this quiz was WAY too hard to read.  All the options ran together with no space separating them,causing them to take a long time to read. I didn't even finish reading them by the time the time ran out.....
