Well you know in the early days. The Mario series or Mario bros series originally started out as a 1983 arcade game  which was on e of those main games. we,re you would play as someone avoid and kill enemies  until your character dies in a game over and you get the highest score as possible. Then the mario series started having a point during the classic nes days. we,re it had Mario bros 1 2 and 3.  I guess Nintendo decided to make mario go through , some other stuff that really didnt invovle the mario series that much such as tennis driving golf and alot of other stuff that Nintendo would try out with The mario series. but those were the main ones that were sucessful  

As some of you may know. Mario tennis didnt have a good start off for 3 reasons. reason 1 it was on the horrible unfinshed virtual boy which was just suckish. reason 2 the game s hit decetetion was really awful most of the time, you could just barely get any points . reason 3 being it brought nothing new. infact it was just mainly tennis with mario characters no new gameplay or exciting features that, the newer mario tennis games seemed to offer.  After that horrible experenice on Virtual boy Nintendo tried to remake this game on The Game boy color. which was in terms a more pleasent experince . Then Nintendo would remake their sucessful game boy color  version of Mario tennis .on the Nintendo 64,

Plot well there is a intro with mario characters . and showing off some neat gameplay footage and mario and luigi going against each other in the finals. until Wario and waluigi show up and start causing trouble. But unlike before bowser is not gonna take over the mushroom kingdom this time . Bowser is just gonna team up with boo for a freindly tennis game  . 


The Graphics of Mario tennis for N64. the graphics are really great alot of stages rather have the resembleance of the original game boy color. Every mario character should be recongizeable and look really good. some people might say it looks a little bad. but its  understandable   sense this is a old game. and 3d didnt really get all that excellent during .the time n64 and ps1 was released
My rating for graphics . 9 the 3d effects are very common and look great for a old title even to this day

Sound the main Soundtrack is an upgrade of the Game boy color version of mario tennis which is a nice feature I am really glad Nntendo decided to upgrade the soundtrack . There are a plenty variety of sound effects. but most of them happen when you make a score or dont make a score. Sound gets 10 rating from me 

Addictiveness I enjoyed the heck out of this game.  I  played all the time  back then when using the Pj64 emulator. All actions just really make the game feel alive and great. Addictiveness gets a 10 really addicting game

Story while i did mention a plot intro eariler . i really dont see an actual storyline of this game. because you mainly just pick a character go through a tournament. and win a  trophy. So that being said im gonna leave story rankings blank

Depth there are about 5.features of this game if i can recall correctly. 1 would be match mode ,2 would be tournament doubles or singles., 3 would be Phriana challenge where you get a lot of points. depending on how many balls you get in. and how many the phriana shoots. 4 ring challenge you basically team up with a tennis character and break their record and move on. 5 Bowser stage. this is not a normal bowser stage . this happened to be my favorite feature. Its kind of like a mario kart and mario tennis mix up. in a crazy element. So whenever i played the game i would always choose bowsers stage do to that reason. Depth gets a 7 pretty long game with neat features to check out.

Difficulty its dependant on which mode you play as so ill keep this ai based. As fair as the Ai its self  its a bit too easy for me.
i always ended up getting a upper hand without even trying . so the ai is pretty easy. Difficulty gets a 2

Overall ratings ,8.9 its a good title and one of the better ones i have played

I remember when this game came out. I instantly fell in love with it. I would love to have an actual 64 and a copy of this game. I would be glued to the tv for unhealthily extended periods of time. Classic.

I really liked the detailed explanations and pretty much the entire review I always loved playing this game since I was interested in the sport of tennis at the time and the Mario series today I still enjoy playing this game endlessly because it contains so many fun factors making it a great Mario sport game for the Nintendo 64
