Double Dash was awesome and quite unique. Not only did I enjoy the idea of having 2 characters per kart, but I also liked the idea of having special items. I would love another Double Dash styled Mario Kart!

To be honest, I would prefer to include the two options to race alone and to race with a partner within Mario Kart Eight. That would be extremely awesome, I do not believe that would occur. I mean, Mario Kart: Double Dash had been the only Mario Kart video game with that feature. Nintendo should do it though. They made much money off of Mario Kart: Double Dash, so why can't they just do it in Mario Kart Eight? They would make more money than any Mario Kart video game. They better include more content, though, and they also better allow you to play on the television, considering my gamepad screen is damaged and they do not sell the, separately.

In all seriousness: YESSSS! The two player per kart actually makes it very newbie-friendly, as the more experienced person can drive while the other can be in charge of items! Even if they didn't do that, I would LOVE for exclusive items to come back, since you have even more reason to pick your driver strategically.
