What is the greatest moment of any retro video game? Record yourself playing through that moment using the RGR Plugin. Be sure to give your submission a title, upload it to the vizzed youtube account and add it to the game's page. Also be sure to post a link to it in this thread.

Once the competition is over (which will be March 29th), staff will vote on the best submissions. Tie breakers will be determined by whichever video has the most views.


MEGA Competition:
This is going to be classified as a Mega competition because not only do 5 people get prizes but there's also cash prizes. If this is a success, I might do 1 Mega competition each month.


Rules:
-You can submit up to 5 videos
-Only videos uploaded after 3/1/2013 count
-Competition ends March 29th
-Be sure to let me know in this thread which videos you've uploaded
-Videos should be at least 15 seconds
-Your videos must be uploaded to the vizzed youtube account
-You must record your videos with the RGR Plugin
-You must add your video to the game's page (which should happen automatically when you upload your video to the vizzed youtube account)
-Staff is ineligible for the cash prizes but can still win 1st and 2nd and get the Viz prize
-You can record video using GB/GBC/GBA games without using mednafen by pressing F8 but the videos can't be longer than 1 minute; if you need to do a video longer than 1 minute on those systems, be sure to play the games using Mednafen (link at top left of play window)
-You can only use an external recording program for N64 and Sega CD games since they don't support video recording but the quality must be good and must still take a screenshot with the plugin of the moment as a way to verify the video was taken by you
-You can do the same game as someone else but you can't do the same moment as someone else
-You must also take a screenshot at some point during your video recording as proof that you took the video


Prizes:
1st = US $50 or 50,000 Viz
2nd = US $25 or 25,000 Viz
3rd = 10,000 Viz
4th = 5,000 Viz
5th = 2,500 Viz


BONUS: I'm planning on making a youtube video for vizzed, if I like your clip and use your clip for my video, you'll get 1000 Viz. If I pick more than 1 of your videos, I'll give you 1000 Viz per a video I use. Even if you win one of the other prizes, I'll still give you an additional 1000 Viz.


Cash Prizes:
The cash Prizes can be paid out in a few ways. I can purchase a membership on a website for you somewhere, I can order something for you off of amazon, I can send you the money via Paypal, I can buy you Microsoft Points, Nintendo Points or Playstation Points and send you the code, I can buy you an Amazon gift card and send you the code, etc. (last edited by Davideo7 on 03-02-13 11:47 AM)

Oh wow... I'm so stunned.  XD  This is absolutely amazing, David!  This is a precedent that I think will draw many players in.  I bet we'll be swamped with submissions.  Too bad I'm not all that familiar with retro games.  LOL  Great idea!  (But then again, I always have said that you're a marketing genius!   )

EDIT:  Oh, and your layout still has hat-wearing A's on either side.  And the other weird symbols are still there as well. You can see an example in some Pokemon threads, and in the lower left hand corner of the site. (last edited by Singelli on 03-02-13 12:01 AM)
