Because I've seen to many users ask about Gamecube and Xbox games on Vizzed I will explain why they aren't there.
 
 1# they have an EXTREMELY high file size per game. Super Mario Sunshine is about 750 MB to download. that is over 700,000 times the amount that it is to download Super Mario bros for the NES! it would crash the server and would run Vizzed a super high bill in the process. 
 
 2# it would cause a ton of server strain even if just 1 person was to download the game. . . once. 
 
 3# it would take a lot of time and money to develop the RGR to handle the games, not to mention thousands of dollars in the process.
 
 
 and it's just $20 to get a gamecube at gamestop. So stop asking about it.

This should be sent in a PM to all newbies. It is so annoying listening to them ask for it. Common sense, if you r computer is having trouble with an N64 game, how would it process a GC game? And all of them seem to think we don't have it just because of the generations. It is really annoying.

Sadly because even though David has comments in several threads that say "Don't ask for new consoles" people don't read threads, and if they do they read the title, then post.

You should add that we "can" add Game Cube games, but only if we get a lot of donations to increase the sites capabilities. And we would need to keep getting the same amount of donations each month. I'm not sure if this applies to Xbox games, but I know it applies to game cube games.

I think it would be better to add ps one games than game cube and xbox games because of not only the file size and the cost and the fact that there newer consoles but because of the fact that it would be better to have retro games considering the fact that the emulator is called the RETRO game room not just the game room I do think that adding game cube and xbox games would be a disgrace not gust to vizzed but to all of retro gaming and everyone on the Internet I think all people who ask for game cube and xbox games should be band from vizzed for a year

catbert225 : I think PSX games would be a little too big. They average about 400mb, and games such as Final Fantasy VIII are over a gigabyte. While it would be nice, and slightly possible considering some of the games are around 50mb, it is likely never going to happen. Unless David wins the lottery of course.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
