I would have to say Hammer Brothers. As tough as they can be that is also why I like them. In some games they are durable, hard to hit and usually they are two. I've always liked the koopa. A basic enemy that turns into a deadly weapon! It doesn't get much better than that. It's especially nice when there are a whole bunch of enemies on the other side of the koopa.
