This thread is meant to assist and help fellow Pokémon Trainers like you and I in understanding what it means to be a Pokémon Trainer.  From a Pokémon's advantages & disadvantages, to types, move sets, and teams, we're here to help.  So, by all means, ask away, and I'll use all my power to answer it with concise solutions.

If the question pertains to your team, keep in mind that a team is unique to YOU & ONLY YOU, no matter what anybody says (as long as you're rationally reasonable about it), so do not take it to heart if I defer or suggest changes to your team and/or moveset.  I can still find most alternatives to make that Pokemon withstand odds better.  As far as responses are concerned, apparently, if I finish with a reply to another person besides yourself, and I dont answer to you next, it's because of this stature that prevents me from chain-threading.  So, in order for me to reply again, I CANNOT BE THE LAST PERSON TO REPLY.  I'm guessing it's a way to promote more social conversation lol.

OH, and before I forget, List the Pokemon's Moveset & Ability as well.  It'll help greatly.

To anyone who wonders where & how I differ upon these things, I research from Bulbapedia and Smogon.  Use at your own risk, for sometimes, it might not work to your favor.

kingvictory : Ok, so far, I see this team as a Powerhouse Team, where Attack would be the highest stat among them (excluding Darkrai, who lies in using Sp. Atk).  This team is awesome, not bad at all, so it is indeed a Dream Team.

Infernape can either use special or physical attacks (based on its nature), so it is extremely versatile.  With its diverse move pool, it can set up very well against its counterpart weaknesses: Flying (Rock Slide, Stone Edge), Psychic (U-Turn IF Infernape is faster), Ground (Grass Knot), and Water (Thunderpunch).  It is crucial that Infernape hits HARD while it has the chance, or else it will fall victim to many attacks with its low averaged DEF & SP DEF.  Blaziken is the better choice if you seek to still keep the fire-fighting Pokémon placement among the team.

Machamp is both hard-hitting AND slow, but such can use this to their advantage.  Machamp is a BEAST when paired with the ability No Guard, where attacks used by & used on him will NOT MISS, meaning you can practically use hard-hitting moves without worrying about accuracy, like Dynamicpunch & Stone Edge.  He can endure some hits, but a clean Psychic-type move can claim him.  Heracross easily outclasses him, but until then, he can still be a THREAT to your opponents.

Scizor....whew, it's been some time since I heard that name.  Another Pokémon who is just like Machamp:  packs a heavy punch, but very slow.  However, this can be changed.  Scizor can learn Bullet Punch, which if paired with Swords Dance & his ability Technician (moves w/ base 60 power or less are increased by 50%), he is DEADLY, PERIOD!!!  He can tank fairy well until someone uses a Fire-Type move against him, which will seal the deal.  Nevertheless, Scizor is DEFINITELY KEEPABLE!!!

Tyranitar..........I have nothing to say about him.  He's godly, until an Aura Sphere/Cross Chop/Close Combat/Hi Jump Kick hits him for 4x damage.  Even still, he's boss.  (WARNING:  Tyranitar's main ability, Sand Stream, will be active until the weather changes, so keep in mind that non-Steel, Rock, & Ground-types will be hit, and have their accuracy affected.)  If you don't mind it at all, then fight on, and be careful.

Darkrai:  Bad Dreams ability, usefulness of Dark Void, access to Nasty Plot, BADASS SP ATK & SPEED??!!!  What more can you ask for??!!
Just make sure he can out speed & KO his opponent before he's defeated .

Dragonite:  Ah, not bad at all.  He's great overall, but his Speed holds him back, making him vulnerable.  Dragon Dance is VITAL to his move set so that he can cover the speed area, while growing physically stronger.  Add HP-recovery to him (Roost) to make this Pokémon a lasting sweeper.  Just watch out for Ice moves, please.

OVERALL:  This team can hold its own, but may falter if Infernape, Scizor, and Machamp fall too quickly.  ATK is the MAIN STRENGTH, while SPD is the MAIN WEAKNESS.  Besides Tyranitar, the others have moderate health, so work quickly to beat your opponent if you want to survive.

Hey, I am playing Pokemon White and I am at Striaton, (Sorry if it is misspelled) and I have Oshuwatt as a starter, what's a good team? I am wanting to use a Zebstrika but was wondering if there would be anything better, I also plan to custom breed Pokes for PvP.

BluemageKyle : Building a team is something that is unique to all players, including yourself.  You chose Oshawott (which is a nice starter, being as I love water Pokémon).

The Idea of Zebstrika is not bad at all, he's very useful.  Chargestone Cave (where Joltik, a Bug/Electric Pokémon, and Tynamo, an Electric Pokémon whose ability, Levitate, takes away his only weakness, but evolves at Lv. 39) has more Electric Pokémon for you to choose.  When I played, I used Blitzle/Zebstrika until I came across Joltik, who learned nice moves like Bug Buzz, Signal Beam, Electro Ball, and Thunderbolt.  These are the only Electric Pokémon that exists for now before the Elite 4, so choose wisely!!

As far as building a team with Oshawott, fire-types are unavailable until Desert Resort, where Darumaka awaits you as the strongest Fire-Type PERIOD!!  For flying, AVOID PIDOVE, TRANQUIL, and UNFEZANT!!!!   They're Pokémon cursed with relying on majority SP ATK moves that chances with their ability Super Luck (increased critical hit chances), yet their SP ATK sucks like crazy.  Sigilyph covers the Psychic/Flying field better than Woobat and Swoobat, and it can defend itself well.

What type (Fire, water, etc) do you want on your team?

BluemageKyle : Drillbur.  Get him, for he will take you a long way through the game.  His evolved form, Excadrill, is considered UBER because of his ability, Sand Rush (2x speed in sandstorm), and Sand Force (30% increase of Steel, Rock, & Ground-Type Moves), both abilities that activate during a sandstorm.  Drillbur hones one of the most broken moves in the game: Drill Run, an 80 power Ground physical move, that can crit very easily to 160!!!

speedy gonzalez :  Before I start, I want t apologize for not getting back at you on your concerns about Zangoose.  Apparently, I can't post 2 times in a row to reply to people's questions.  So, I'll bunch them up all in one, so everyone's answer will be taken care of.  For you, I'll do Zangoose recommendation AND your team suggestion.
ZANGOOSE
Zangoose has 2 abilities: Immunity, which prevents poisoning, and Toxic Boost, a Dream World ability that increases Zangoose's 130 base ATK by 50%!!! (making it 195!!!!)  Zangoose w/ Toxic Boost is the best way to go, since it can sweep for a good while with its decent speed.  When using Toxic Boost, make sure it hold Black Sludge, which you can find from any Trubbish or Grimer (found in Castelia Sewers in Pokémon WHT 2).  You can use Toxic Orb as well, but unlike Black Sludge, which poisons you, Toxic Orb BADLY poisons you, and we don't want to kill Zangoose quickly.  Here's a build commonly used to take advantage of his ability & moves at the same time:
Zangoose w/ Toxic Boost (Held Item: Toxic Orb or Black Sludge)
- Facade:  65 PWR move that doubles when burned, paralyzed, or POISONED!!!  Since Facade's a Normal move, STAB is added to it (50% increase), making it 97!!!!  And with Toxic Boost kicking in, the move's a whopping 145 in PWR!!!!  An absolute must!!!
- Swords Dance: Learned at 43, it makes a big difference in his sweeping power!!
- Quick Attack: Outspeeds faster Pokémon, and with its STAB and boost from its ability AND Swords Dance, it can hit hard!!
- The final move is up to its user.  Some use Close Combat to overwhelm walls, while others go for Night Slash, hoping to land a critical hit.  For me, I use Taunt, which seals the opponent's status moves like Stealth Rock or Rain Dance, so they won't set any traps upon me, or boost theirselves and their team.
You can use Crush Claw if you want, which is learned at 22.
Now, as for Your team, oshawott is a great choice, as it can learn moves that overpowers your opponent with the 2nd hit (this will occur when he becomes Dewott).  Growlithe is a nice Fire-Type to use, but there are two others who are just as fast, and stronger, than him:  Magby and Darumaka.  Magby is fast, and is a Special Attacker.  While he may cannot sustain physical hits, he can attack first guaranteed.  You will find him in Virbank Outskirts near Virbank City.  The evolutions Magmar and Magmortar become even more stronger in SP ATK, and enables you an even more diverse movepool, like Thunderbolt.  Darumaka, on the other hand, is in the Desert Resort (after your 3rd badge).  Darumaka's ATK stat is HIGH, while his speed is relatively low, but he can assure many battles won if used patiently.  If patient, he evolves into one of the STRONGEST fire-type Pokémon in the game: Darmanitan!!!  He hits hard and fast, and is made to be a reckless Pokémon, whose hits count for sure, no matter if he's damaged in the process.  Growlithe is not worth getting, compared to these options.
As for Mareep, I would suggest keeping her, as she will be the best Electric-Type Pokémon for now.  Thunder Wave like a pro, and you can easily hamper all anti-Ground-type Pokémon.  While Emolga, Blitzle, and Joltik are fascinating and unique, Tynamo is the god of them all, as his ability Levitate avoids all Ground-type moves, eliminating his ONLY weakness, with a downside: Tynamo evolves at 39.  For now, Mareep will do.
Now, for the Dream Team: Tyranitar is NOT available early in the game.  He's available on Rt. 15 after the Elite 4 is defeated.  Swampert, Gastrodon, and Whiscash can easily sweep this team, as the majority weakness in this team is either Water or Ground.  While Floatzel is excellent, Ludicolo is even better.  It can recover easily with its ability Rain Dish (+1/16 HP per turn during Rain Dance) and Synthesis, while using powerhouse moves like Scald, Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, and a few others.  This will help to keep your team alive.  Glalie has always been a nice Pokémon, but because all (and I mean ALL) of his stats are base 80 (from HP, to SPEED), he's mediocre.  However, he's best as a Defensive due to the fact that he's the fastest of Pokémon that can use Spikes.  He can also use Taunt, Toxic, Explosion, Crunch, Ice Fang/Ice Beam, Disable, Attract, and the list goes on.  If used correctly, he's dangerous.  However, if choosing another Pokémon in his place would be lovely, look into using Psychic-Type Pokémon like Sigilyph (found in the Desert Resort, Psychic/Flying), who is a wall turned into a beatdown.  With moves like Roost, Psychic, Air Slash, Hypnosis, Cosmic Power, Charge Beam, and the like, Sigilyph can be a hard Pokémon to take down, if used correctly.  Just avoid Rock-Type & Ghost-Types (unless you want him to learn Shadow Ball), and you will do fine.
Dream Team Score: 82/100
(Of course, if you feel that you want to keep it that way, by all means, you can.  My help never goes to waste, as it teaches you how to make more options for yourself.)

Well I need members for a rain team (no legends) The only non legendary pokemon with drizzle is politoed. But the only way to get its hidden ability is to get a poliwag with its hidden ability in the dream world.and I must have like 25000 dream points to find one. So which members do I get for a rain team?

hilacle :  Ok, Professor Time!!!

The only other way to get a near-Drizzle effect like Politoed is by having a Pokemon know Rain Dance while holding a DAMP ROCK!!!  This item extends the time of Rain Dance from 5 to 8 turns.  Now, being that in a team no 2 Pokemon can have the same item, this Water-Type Pokemon must have Swift Swim in order for it to gain priority attacking the next turn.  The only other exception is Vaporeon with Dream World ability Hydration, as her moveset can exhaust the energy of her opponents.  Using Toxic, Wish, Rain Dance, and Protect, she can stay in the game without losing much health, and her status affliction will be cured by the rain.

After this is covered, you can use any array/arrangement of Pokemon to take care of it.
It's funny to ask me this, because my dream was to become a Water Gym Leader (or at least Elite 4 material)
This was my Old School Rain Team:

Seaking @ Damp Rock
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Drill Run
- Megahorn
- Waterfall
- Rain Dance

Golduck @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Hydro Pump
- Rest

Tentacruel @ Shell Bell
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Acid Spray
- Scald
- Aqua Ring

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Recover

Poliwrath @ Sitrus Berry
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Hypnosis
- Focus Punch
- Waterfall
- Poison Jab

Tell me what you think of it.

Leader_Relle : Wow that's good, but first of all.

Life orb on a starmie with special attack moves and a status healing move?
Was't expecting tentacruel to be honest.
I wanted drizzle besides rain dance for one reason: Permanent Rain but I guess rain dance and the damp rock is.... good enough?
There's only 5 members on that team.

hilacle :  The 6th Pokemon is one I don't have because I wanted to leave it open for freestyling choices.  You know, be free and all.  But yeah, Damp Rock/Rain Dance is the ONLY alternative.  I hope this has helped you

speedy_gonzalez: It's ok if you're not using Ludicolo, it was worth a shot.   Crobat is lovely, and it evolves via happiness, like Espeon & Umbreon.  The key in doing this varies, from making it hold a Soothe Bell, to capturing it with a luxury ball, and more.  My method was to make sure it never fainted, keep it up fromt of the team as I walked, train it in the wild, and if I used him against a trainer, make sure it won.  Zubat can be proven useful, as you will have a chance to catch it before facing Burgh, a Bug-Type Gym Leader.  Zubat learns Wing Attack at 19, so that's a great way to get it started.  Crobat can even slay or stall it's main vein weakness, Psychic, with X-Scissors & Bite for flinching.  It varies, but at the end, Crobat can easily change the tide of a game.  I got my Crobat after it just evolved from a Zubat into a Golbat.

mourinhosgum :  One word: abusive!!!!   Both are rapists.  Blaziken is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to wall, with access to Hi Jump Kick, Close Combat, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz, and Swords Dance!!!!   With his stat and STAB put together, he is nearly unstoppable.  Metagross is a tank ready for war on any ground.  While he can be easily out-sped by many Pokemon, he can hinder a lot of things if used correctly.  I love this dude!!!  I use Bulldoze, Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, and Stealth Rock, and so far, it's been doing wonders!!!
