who was your favorite character in the anime out of every single one. ash is not included because he is the main character. pokemon can be your favorite too because they count as characters. it cannot be random people that they only meet in one episode it has to be in lots of episodes. Example my favorite was  todd (that guy that took lots of pictures of pokemon and is a good friend of ash brock and misty) because he was cool and all the episodes that he was in were good.


ok so my favorite is mistys phyduck because he is so funny, never does what misty says, his voice is funny and he is powerful when he gets a headache

I'll have to go with none other than May here. Personally I love her personality and who fun her character is, she was the first co-coordinator
traveling companion of ash. She had some of my favorite Pokémon, however the only aspect I didn't really like about her was her
slightly annoying brother max, I know he was meant to come off as a younger curious child, but he somewhat annoyed me even if he
was good with Pokémon and made friends with legendaries such as Deoxys and Jirachi I never really found him too interesting.

My Favorite character is James of team rocket

I don't really like him much in the early seasons, but as the show progressed, they showed James as more of a sweet, kind guy who got mixed up with the wrong crowed than a true evildoer. His personality provides an excellent contrast to Jessie's too. I also like the fact that he befriended three of the Pokémon he has.

I love Pikachu because he is soooo cute, yellow, and sometimes acts funny. GO PIKACHU!!!

My Favorite Pokémon anime character is Ash Ketchum because hes the main character and his starter is Pikachu and its very strong maybe as strong as the legendary or better!

I have to say Gary. He is a awesome rival and will do whatever it takes to become the Pokémon champion.

Anyway my favorite anime character would have to be Gary, I mean the guy had so much swag.

I actually REALLY liked both Drake (Orange Islands) and Gary Oak. These two characters had really great teams and they were both great trainers. I feel like Gary would beat Drake in a Pokemon battle as Ash had but Drake's Dragonite almost sweeped Ash's team with literally ease. I still feel that if Drake started off with Dragonite then Ash's whole lineup would have almost been sweeped which is actually very funny to think about. Also I LOVE Misty!

You know, I would have to say Dawn, she is an awesome character in Pokémon dp: sinnoh league victors. She had some pretty awesome Pokémon in her party and that she journeyed with ash and Brock. It was brutally sad that in episode 34, Ash and Brock had to go back to Kanto. The Video GameGuy54321 Out.

I really like Brock, because he had been one of the main characters for quite some time. All the others usually ended up leaving after just one series. I liked him because he stuck with Ash and Pikachu for a longer time.

I probably like Brock the most. I don't know why, I just think he's a funny character, I guess. Also, like zanderlex said, he's been in the show a lot, unlike every one of Ash's other travelling companions.

My favorite Pokemon anime character will always be Brock. He is just unique with all of his running gags, and he always puts a smile to my face. He is hilarious XD! Also, I like how he can sometimes be serious as well.

My Favorite Pokemon anime character is James from Team Rocket!
He starts of as a bit of a bland, normal dumb bad guy, but as the anime went on he was shown to be more, a kind, sweet character that actually cares about his Pokemon, he's just in the wrong time at the wrong place.
Also, he asks his Pokemon if they want to join him, he doesn't beat them up first, he asks them nicely. Now that, is a true Pokemon Master!

My favorite character is the Houndoom from the episode Houndoom's Special Delivery from the Johto anime series.

It took care of Togepi when it got lost and needed nurture until they both found Misty and company. It was very kind and sweet for Houndoom to take care of Togepi and protect it from anyone who got in their way. Even tough Pokemon have soft sides to them especially if there is a Pokemon in need for help.

Gary by far! Not only did he defeat Ash's level 80+ Pikachu with an eevee that was way under leveled but also his personality was just so awesome when the creators had Ash and Gary interacting. Gary later became a professor for a short time and then out of nowhere seemed to let it go in a way to aid Ash on his adventure during certain episodes which was awkward but his Pokemon were awesome like the Umbreon and Electivire. During the main series as I was playing the first few games in gens 1 and 2 I actually copied many of Gary's team members just because it seemed that he would always have just the really awesome Pokemon that were powerful enough to do a solo run with like his Nidoking and Nidoqueen and Blastoise!

Paul was just too gamelike. By that I mean his style of battling is one that if you are a fan of the games you would probably end up battling like him minus the last time he battled against Ash just because you wouldn't have to waste 2 Pokemon to figure out your opponent's lineup.

As far as the actual Pokemon in the series I loved Ash's Charizard, Gen 2 Meowth the guy in the tournament had, and to be honest i actually hated Cynthia's Garchomp. It was literally too OP for EVERYTHING! I wouldn't be surprised if Cynthia went against a legendary with Garchomp and won.
