I wanted to try for Yellow again tonight but I think Davideo has me beat. I'm not going to have time to post a whole lot more before I go to bed.

On a separate note, and not to be harsh but shouldn't copy/pasting from copyrighted material automatically disqualify you from the red jersey competition for a month? Considering it's more than just spamming the forums?

Seriously though, it was a fun day with me and Davideo locking up a lot of the Jerseys. I hope to be just as active today although we will see if the forums have enough threads that are worth posting in today...It's been hit or miss lately

Oldschool41 : Well I don't know if writing a BUNCH Of reviews is going to help you win the Red, but I don't see how there could be a rule in how many reviews you write in a day. I would just suggest that you do them well rather than do what a lot of users do which is pump out lazy reviews just to get posts in. That winds up irritating people/mods anyways.

Just try to review a deep adventure or RPG game with as much detail as possible and you have a good chance at winning. Anything in the realm of 2.5k Words+ has a good shot.

Jordanv78 : Well I assumed that the reviews would be detailed enough that you would win the Red jersey. I just think that reviews are an easy way of getting the Red jersey as you can go in depth on the game pretty easy if you know what to do.

I think that I was getting that if you do a review that ends up winning you the Red jersey, the next day if you end up doing another review; that you can't go as in depth on it that you end up getting the Red jersey again. This would be so that if you want to compete for Red, that you have to go in depth on another forum/thread.

Again this might be me just not happy that I didn't get the Red jersey, so I understand if this is a terrible idea.

I am going to try to actually try to compete once I get my new charger and battery for my laptop, and by then, it will be too little, too late. this sucks

Oldschool41 : That's probably as good of a way as any to make a long post with original content. Most of the people that wind up winning the Red Jersey are people that post 1 long review per day. (At least what I have seen)

So what I was saying is, that's probably the best idea for trying to consistently try to win the Red Jersey.

Also it's nice to have some in-depth reviews of games (especially for games that haven't been reviewed 1million times)Decent reviews have been hard to come by lately. lol
