The Gameboy Color was a truly great handheld console from Nintendo. It also had some truly great games. What's yours? For me, it's hard to decide. I don't know if there is a "best" game for the Gameboy Color, there's quite a few classics in it's game library. Runners up for me are Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and The Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening DX. But overall I would have to say my favorite is Pokemon Silver (/Gold/Crystal). It keeps you interested with plenty to do and featured my favorite generation of pokemon. It was one of the GBC games with a lot to do and hours upon hours of gameplay on a single cartridge. I would go with Pokémon Gold. I played that longer than the other GBC games I've played. I think that it's the most fun game also. But Super Mario Land 2 was a close second.

I never really got interested in the GameBoy stuff at all, so I really have to say the Pokemon series games are my favorite here. I've heard good things about the Zelda: Oracles Of games, but never really played them, since I'm less interested in the 2D Zelda games, and since I never really gained the interest to try them out, Nya~.

Deluxe for the Gameboy Color was my favorite because it had more stuff to do than the original Super Mario Bros. and once you completed the entire game without warps you could play all the levels in Challenge Mode and unlock Super Mario Bros. - The Lost Levels. That's a lot of stuff to do and it could keep me busy for hours non-stop.

Honestly I didn't have a GBC for very long and I only ever had a few games on it but lucky for me I was one of the many who got it for Link's Awakening DX which was my favorite game for it. Also I really liked Bomberman Pocket. In fact I suddenly want to play that one right now its been years! *wooshes off to RGR*

I would say that my favorite Game boy colour game has to be Pokemon Gold or Crystal,
I enjoyed Gold but Crystal had the battle tower which is now one of my favorite things in Pokemon.

I guess overall I would go for Crystal just for the Battle Tower extension.
I mean the main story is just as good as pokemon Gold.

This one's easy. Dragon Warrior III is the best game on Gameboy Color, hands down to me. It's an RPG game made by Square Enix (I think just Enix at the time) that was a remake of the one made in the early 90s. There's some extra stuff, too, so it's worth checking out.
