CuteKitten : It's a tough question. A lot can go into getting a dog like your personality and how much time you have to spend with it since dogs need lots of care and attention. If you live in an apartment you definitely want to get a smaller breed. They can be a bit obnoxious though, so be prepared for that. If you're a busy person with a small living place you may just want to get a cat.
