For my cousin, it was ketchup.  Whether he was putting it into his scrambled eggs, on top of his pizza, or in his lasagna, ketchup made his world go round.

For many, it's salt.

Me?  I'm going to argue that oregano makes just about anything taste better.  My husband and I recently discovered this, and we haven't disliked anything we put it in yet.  The stuff is amazing!

For me, it is mainly Barbecue Sauce! I mainly use it for turkey and chicken, but when we run out of ketchup, it is perfectly fine for fries, hot dogs, and burgers!

I also lately have been putting garlic powder on MANY things. First found it tasted great on leftover Mac n cheese, but then found its awesomeness with vegetables and eggs!

I think crushed red pepper makes most things I make better, and most things I eat in a restaurant or get through a drive through I like with ranch or bleu cheese.

I like having a bunch of different flavors and textures in everything I make, so I add a random assortment of Cajun seasoning, Garlic powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper to pretty much everything I make anymore. I used to have a lot more seasonings but I always forget to get more when I'm out and about...

On a long distance trip with some of my buddies we played a game where we'd try to name a food that couldn't be improved by either adding bacon/bacon bits or chocolate. We could only name a couple, so I'd go with either of those by far over anything else.
