Look,i've seen many games that were RPG Platformers, but this one is different from everything. This one has somenthing that others don't,and maybe it has somenthing to do with this game being deep and full of content. Maybe it's the story that has captivating characters and an incredible twist at the end. All i know is that this game is art. This game was made as a result of hard work. This game is probably the best Castlevania ever.

The game mechanics are complex, but easy to use : You have the power of dominance over enemy's souls,so whenever you kill an enemy, you might get certain powers. This makes the game as deep as Pokémon in terms of collecting stuff. There are over 150 souls, and it's not easy to get them all. This game also shares the leveling system from Symphonia of the Night,so you can level up and get stronger.

The soundtrack is truly shining, there is not a single bad song in this game, and it's one of those games where the characters have generic voices, like, when you swing a sword,Soma says "Hah!",or somenthing like that. Some cut-scenes contain voices as well. This game has many different endings, and many different paths that the character can take. The Castle is huge,so there is always a place you didn't explore before. Backtracking is necessary, but it's not terribly boring like in Metroid or other similar games. Alas, you can backtrack if you want to get a certain item or soul for the upcoming boss.

All the bosses are incredibly well made and full of attacks,so the game never gets dull. After you finish the game, you unlock Boss Rush, and Sound test. That is a nice addition. You also unlock hard mode,so if you though the game was too easy, think again. You also unlock Julius as a playable character, and it feels like an entirely different experience when you're playing with him. I'd say this Castlevania has a really big replay value. If you're looking for one game that will never get old, this is it. Enjoy the game, and embark on your journey to find out the secrets of Castlevania.
