I would say Dragon Ball Z. And my 2 favorite characters would be Goku and Vegeta. Actually, almost all of the saiyans are my favorite characters but goku and vegeta are the best!

So many anime too choose from, but my absolute favorite would be One Piece. Watched/read around the time it was released in Japan. As for favorite characters it would probably have to be Sanji and Robin from One Piece, Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist, and of course Mukuro from Yu Yu Hakusho.
