It's smart on their end but they shouldn't be allowed to do that. It's not like they actually designed something unique, it's a generic graphic of a page turning. They're just in it to make money at this point and it's starting to really show. This is disappointing.

This seems as pointless as SOPA or PIPA, and that is assuming those pieces of legislation didn't have any security risks. Good luck enforcing this patent, I'm going to continue reading my books/.epub(s)/etc. regardless if I can turn a page or not.

Seriously, half the things they're patenting nowadays are things that have been around before Apple's use of them. It makes me wonder if they fear the competition THAT MUCH.
