Hi everyone! I;m just curious here, but what is like the average age of people on this (not to be to personal)?  I ask this because I, personally, am 20 and when ever I play a game on here it seems like everyone else is like 13-15.  Maybe I should stop playing pokemon games then haha...

I would have to agree with Lazlo. The general age of the users here tends to gravitate to the younger teen years, and preteens. I'm like 20, but it doesn't really keep me from coming by every day.

If I had to give you just one age though... I'd say 13. It's pretty indicative of the people here I'd say.

I'm 31 years old.  I played NES through my childhood and that's the reason I'm here.  The SNES games are pretty good but Nintendo and even Atari are what drew me in.  I don't make many comments in the forums because I agree, the population is significantly younger than me and so are the conversations.  I do ocassionally chime in and give my two cents but I feel like a seasoned veteran of Life when I'm on here.

I have a suggestion:  Don't start a question with "Not to sound like a creeper."  That makes people start thinking, "Oh, man, that guy's kinda creepy," instead of thinking, "Oh, I'm 13 years old," without giving it a second thought.

Yeah I would say the average age is between 13-17. I'm close to 20 years old and I don't mind being slightly older since we kind of need some mature, seasoned people to make sure that the kids are behaving.

Just because of the age factor doesn't mean you have to stop. To be honest, every age can play Pokémon. Also this site is indeed for everyone. Now that I think about it I guess it's actually kind of nice that a new generation is getting into the older games, discovering the gems back from the era when game designers still held to Nolan Bushnell's motto of "minimum rules, maximum richness". Perhaps they've grown disillusioned with newer games.
