Hm, I am quite surprised in the news of this happening, I thought it was going to be a big hit!

Rodzilla : To my knowledge, Young Justice hasn't been cancelled. Its just in hibernation until the next season is ready to debut(Why do you think Green Lantern, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and other shows aren't on right now). That is why TT GO! replaced YJ in its time slot(although I will agree with you that I would much rather see re-runs than the mockery that is TT GO!). As for Samurai Jack, I suppose that's one show that ended before it was warranted. Same thing with Reboot!, Futurama, Sym-Biotic Titan and the new Thundercats remake(had an interesting plot that was just starting to get interesting).

Another show that frankly should still be on their channel, even in re-runs, was Code Lyoko. Even though it technically ended after 95 episodes(97 if you include the 2 episode prequel), they never bothered re-airing Season 4 after they went through it one time and yet it was one of their top rated shows at the time(what common sense person would make that decision *rolls eyes*). The show was recently rebooted as Code Lyoko Evolution(presently airing in France) but its part live action. Like with the first 4 seasons of CL, Evolution has its flaws but its not as bad as other Live Action adaptations of animated shows(Avatar movie... *shudders*). I would THINK that with their recent fascination with live action(ex: Level UP!, Incredible Crew etc.) that this will eventually make its way over to CN airwaves once the English dub(should they make one) is completed. Just a little warning that if your expecting Code Lyoko Evolution to be the old Code Lyoko you remember, drop those expectations right now as its not.

DH110985 : Unfortunately, you are wrong.  YJ, GL, and SW:TCW were all canceled (there are plenty of news articles you can find on this), pushing TT GO! up in the time slot. It would have aired next year instead of this year if YJ had been renewed for another season, but it was already stated a few weeks after season two of YJ began that it would not be renewed for a third season.

The primary reason for the cancellation of animated series in many countries is a lack of merchandise sales which make up a larger portion or revenue than the TV show itself does. For a known 'superhero' TV series, much of that merchandise comes in the form of comics and video games which themselves require staff and extra costs to produce.

That's why shows like Spongebob Squarepants can stay on the air for so long. The production costs are much lower and they appeal to a much younger crowd which fits parents often buying a plethora of themed toys like stuffed pillow-toys, blankets, lunch boxes, clothing, party supplies, and any basic toy that they only have to slap a sticker on.

CobraGuy : Well seeing as I was unaware of the cancellations(for all 3 shows), I will take your word for it. YJ would have made a great reboot of Teen Titans(all they had to do was add in Raven, Starfire and Cyborg) and Green Lantern honestly had potential. Clone Wars I am not too surprised considering LucasArts was bought out by Disney not that long ago(and the last season had a bit of a closure to it with Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order).

I think they canceled Mr. Meaty because its too weird.

I have a couple of shows that when they cancelled it I was upset. The shows they cancelled that made me upset were(was) Samurai Jack(didn't even finish the series), The Secret Saturdays(just thought it was entertaining and could have continued on), Code name kids next door(easily could have continued and left a open plot to continue), Dexter's laboratory( just found it entertaining), Invader Zim(funny and entertaining), and last but not least(the only one left I can think of at the moment) Avatar the last Air bender(plot some what left open for more episodes, and was very appealing and entertaining).

Teen Titans and Futurama were and are two of my favorite shows. Why do people cancel such quality?

Hey Arnold is still on. All 90s Nick shows have been revived on the late night teenick block "the 90's Are All That". It starts at midnight and runs until 3 everynight.

Animaniacs, man... That needs no explanation, it was one of the absolute BEST 90s shows ever. But after being canceled for, I think, a decade or a bit less, they finally came back with re-runs of it, on The Hub. Which is one reason why I watch that channel now.

I have a few that I watched that they just cancelled it for no legitimate reason. The product being great, but the ratings weren't most of the time. Some of them they just killed for a personal reason. It's ridiculous.
