The thread pretty much explains it all.
For me, I will always deeply and madly be in love with Bugs Bunny.  He is THE absolute best... the master of sarcasm... and knowledgeable about music and literature.  (The adults are more likely to know what I mean.)

I love that furry little guy and I could watch those originals for hours  It's a shame modern TV doesn't produce anything quite on par with it.

This is kinda tough... though I enjoyed countless hours of watching Looney Tunes as a kid... I have no idea what character is my absolute favorite.

Bugs Bunny is a good one and perhaps the answer... but I'm not entirely sure. The personalities of the characters weren't 100% consistent every cartoon because different people were writing them (at the same time even). Part of me feels that Bugs is best when he's more of a screwball character (basically a nut that messes with people), but as time went on, they continually mellowed him. There's something that feels off... missing without his edge. I mean, he did get better at snarky remarks and sarcasm as a trade-off... but I do miss the old Bugs.


I also really liked the original concept of Daffy Duck when he was a pure screwball character. His only purpose was just to be crazy. I think that's when he was most entertaining. When they started doing the Rabbit Season/Duck Season rivalry with Bugs, Daffy sort of transformed into more of just an angry antagonist than an entertaining nutjob. I really disliked that move because I feel his character really lost something special. He's supposed to be crazy, not just angry all the time.

I also found the Tazmanian Devil rather interesting. He's another character that I enjoyed.

And I realize that I provided WAY too much analysis on simple cartoon characters in this post xp

Taz, hands-down. Taz is my favorite because of his wild, silly personality and because of (simply - saying) how different he is from the rest of the characters in the cartoon. I mean, Taz doesn't talk (english anyhow) and he's absolutely crazy. Not to mention, rather funny.

It's between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

It's hard to me pick only one... They are a great and funny duo.

Daffy is a favorite in the past, though if we went by the recent, NEW Looney Toons episodes, he is not my favorite. I feel that they made him much too much of a one note selfish person. He does have a heart, stop shelving it!

I never liked Bugs too much in the past because he seemed to be more of a trouble maker than anything. Same with Speedy and Tweety in some episodes. I liked Sylvester when he was playing a good role, or even a neutral role. Maybe it is just a "villain pity" inside me, but I can never really see many of the supposed good guys as all that good.

My husband's favorite is Taz, though I'll never understand why.  LOL  I suppose I just never saw enough cartoons with Taz in them in order to 'get it'

I was in Wal-Mart today when I saw a commercial for today's Looney Toon shows and my jaw dropped. My heavens, what have they done to our lovable characters?!?!

I'd say Porky Pig from the old Looney Tunes. He's isn't as epic as he used to be today, but he is still my favorite Looney Tunes character. I probably like him because he is a pig and I know he eats too much. If he was in my house, he'd be dinner.

I also like Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam as Foes for Bugs

Singelli : My favorite Looney Tune Character is Bugs Bunny.

daffy and bugs are boith hilarios and awesome. so its a tie. daffy also reminds me of donald duck from disney. and i also like taz. i like them all. tweety is pretty clever, and porky has a funny accent. 
 

My favorite Looney Tunes character is DEFINITLEY Bugs Bunny. I loved him. Ever since I was little, whenever I saw him eating a carrot, I would always raid my refrigerator and look for a full carrot to chew on. My mom said I would turn orange because I ate so many! She didn't complain though because at least I was eating healthy I loved how clever he was whenever Elmer Fudge was hunting him. He was so funny and I use to watch Looney Tunes very often. I still do, however now they have a newer version of it, and it's just not the same I have the old school video tapes of Bugs Bunny, and I would watch it every day about three times a day, until my tape almost broke! So all in all, Bugs Bunny is my favorite by far

Has to be Taz... Because he is just pure awesome.
