What's your favorite reality show or game show?  These tend to be the types of shows I enjoy the most, I've learned, though I never grew up with them.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Master Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Solitary (so sad it stopped, though it was getting a little weird), Shark Tank.

I don't really watch reality shows. I never got into them for some reason. However, I do like a few game shows, I haven't watched them recently so I don't even know if they're still airing. But I'll list them anyway.

-Family Fued
-The Price is Right
-Who Wants To Be a Millionaire
-Jeopardy
-Wheel of Fortune

Mine favorite game show have to be Wheel of Fortune, because I just like guessing the letters and try to solve it in my living room.

I love reality TV shows!  The current ones I watch are MasterChef, Amazing Race, Price is Right (only when I don't have school)and fashion runway.  I love reality TV!  It's probably the genre of TV I watch the most!

Yeah, Amazing Race was another one of the shows I was going to list.  Kitchen Nightmares is also okay though it's not as good as Ramsey's other shows.  I'm not sure how I feel about his Hotel Hell yet.

My favorite game show has to be Family Fued. But I like any game show as long as I get a laugh by some of the answers. I really miss the one game show where cleberties where up on this giant tick tack toe board.

As for reality TV shows; nothing beats the old school Survivors. But now I like the Ink Master show on Spike becuase some of the tattoo designs are really cool.

My favorite without a doubt is Total Wipeout.

Not just any Total Wipeout, but the UK version. Richard Hammond is just a genius at comedy in my opinion. Every episode of it I watch he has me either giggling or laughing out loud at least once~

LOL. My husband and I watch Wipeout, but only sometimes if there's just absolutely nothing else to watch. You've got to admit though... it'd be a fun competition to take part in!

As for typical shows like Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud... I don't know.  I never could get into them.

Singelli :
Sairek Ceareste :

Yeah I enjoy Wipeout it looks like a fun show and the commintators are pretty funny also. Wheel of Fortune I couldn't get into since I'm terrible at Grammer. I also enjoy Password and that show where people kept say "No Wammy, No Wammy, No Wammy, No Wammy, STOP!!"

Singelli : I'd actually love to compete in total Wipeout. My only fear would be the water. I have a minor case of hydrophobia. I don't mind swimming with a life jacket; I just don't like going under the water. And in Total Wipeout if you can stay dry through every obstacle, you deserve to win.

But even then, the start of the Wipeout zone would usually puts you into the water. So no avoiding that...

Oldschool41 :

I believe 'No Wammy' comes from the Gameshow "Double Wammy(sp Whammy?), but not sure if that is actually what it's called or not. I loved that show but only seen it a couple of times.

Wheel of Fortune is just... bleh, to me. 80% of the time a person will roll through a puzzle in one turn unless they land on a bankrupt, miss a turn, or just screw up; and then even still some people get a free spin. You'll be lucky in Wheel of Fortune to go more than twice if at all.

Sairek Ceareste : Double Whammy huh. I'll have to look it up on the Game Show Channel. They should bring that show back cause I would watch that or Supermarket Sweeps (I just remembered the show at this moment lol).

I personally can't stand most Reality TV shows, but I do like some game shows. Mostly the classics... really old game shows had a special charm to them that modern attempts at game shows don't seem to be able to capture.

Family Feud
Match Game
The Price Is Right
Jeopardy
Press Your Luck

These are really fun to watch (though two of those sadly no longer exist). The only modern game shows I can recall liking were Cash Cab (a very innovative formula for a trivia game show) and Don't Forget The Lyrics. The latter mostly just when Wayne Brady hosted it because I really like Wayne Brady, plus I like music and singing. They kinda messed with the format after they got a new host and it became less interesting to me.

Crazy Li :  Cash Cab is ooookaaaay I guess.  I mean, it's better than some out there. LOL  I don't know why I can't really get into game shows.  :/  Maybe it's just that my parents never watched them, so they completely bore me.

Though Family Feud is alright.  I hate the newer hosts though.

Sairek Ceareste :  Huh.. I've never met anyone with Hydrophobia!  That's very interesting to me!  You'd make for an interesting competitor if the viewers knew that. XD

Oldschool41 :   "No Whammy, no whammy, no whammy, stop!'  I think I just killed some brain cells.  WHAT in the world is that one about!!?!?  LOL It sounds terribly humorous.

OOOOOH I just thought of a GREAT reality/game show, but it's super old and it's black and white.  It was in play during World War II I believe.  Have any of you ever seen People are Funny?

Singelli : I mostly watched old Family Feud on Gameshow Network. Back when Richard Dawson was the host. I just really like Richard Dawson. He was pretty funny. I liked him as host of that show and a Celebrity Panel member on Match Game.

And Press Your Luck/Whammy! was just a very interesting and unique game. It was crazy when that one ice cream truck driver watched the old version of the show so many times that he cracked the pattern that lights went in and ended up winning a ridiculous amount of money that pretty much broke the show.

Oldschool41 : I only watched double whammy as a little young'n. I barely remember how the game worked. I just remember the little mole thingywhatsit and that's why I liked the game show. xD

Singelli : Quite a few viewers have already attended (At least in Wipeout UK) that don't like water.

I think I only seen maybe three of them get pass the qualifier... and that's watching every single episode in existence up to season 5, including the special episodes, like celebrity specials, Winter Wipeout season, etc etc.

Sairek Ceareste :  That's a lot of Wipeout!  LOL  It is amusing, but what makes you want to watch it so often?  I don't think I've seen any that had participants afraid of the water though.

Singelli : Aw, but almost EVERYONE loves Steve Harvey...

I'm not kidding; people say he's the best host since Richard Dawson.

As for Total Wipeout, the reason why I love watching it so much?

Richard Hammond.

Just looked up some Game shows. Is The Newlywed Game still on the air? I would be surprised if that got canceled since there are a lot of Newlyweds. Also I liked 10000 Pyramid and Catchphrase.

Sairek Ceareste : The thing I liked about Press Your Luck is the little Whammies will cause stuff to fall on the contestants who land on them... like you might see a little animation play of one eating popcorn and suddenly the contestant is showered in popcorn.

Also, I'll give you that Steve Harvey is the best host they've had since Dawson... but that's not saying much. I didn't like a single one they had between. Harvey is at least tolerable and funny at times. Though his sense of humor isn't exactly aligned with mine, so I don't always get his way of being funny.

On Youtube, look up "Family Feud Naked Grandma"

It's... uh... not what it sounds. xD.

Steve Harvey in that video is a huge prime example why a lot of people love Steve Harvey as Family Feud's host.
