No. Not one bit. This was a time when religion ruled, only advancements in knowledge were that of warfare, and I personally find the style of art and clothing quite ugly (Though that's on a level of my own opinion, like I said).
The medieval times, whether Dark Ages or Renaissance, were some of the worst times within humanities history for sure, Nya~.
