It IS hard to make such a long post!  LOL Mine today took me about 40 minutes to type up, but it was not an easy 40 minutes since I had a few distractions.  I wouldn't be able to do it on any subject though.  In essence, I DID write the start of a novel. 

I don't think I'd have time or the energy to beat someone if someone outdoes me today.  (And I'm sure someone will.  we've got 14ish hours left in the day.

I don't understand the DQ system for this. If someone in the top 5 gets DQ'd, why doesn't the 6th place person move up and get their points? If you're saying someone doesn't deserve the rank they got and are gonna DQ them, why do those who didn't get DQ'd suffer as well? It looks like you still bump up other top-5 contestants so if #1 got DQ'd #2 becomes the new #1... but #6 doesn't become the new #5 to get that point. Why is that? Is there something I'm missing here?

That's how it's supposed to work, but whenever we click "recalculate results" all it accomplishes is putting the people who were DQ'd back where they were prior to the DQ. The only person who can fix that is David, and he's got enough piled up as is, so I don't expect it to be high on his priority list.
