mrkoolnerd : I think the emulator is Kega, the same that's used for Genesis. I recognize the input menu. It makes sense since Kega can do Gen, SegaCD, 32X, GG, and Master System. I haven't checked those other systems, but I wouldn't be surprised if the same emu is used for them as well.

I threw done some vizz and tried the Sonic CD, i was pretty impressed and relised it was worth the vizz to try it haha. I'm stoked this game will be here.

Epuslso : Actually the guy who was suppose to be testing out the Sega CD games for me sorta quit without letting me know so they weren't able to be released on October 1st. I have another staff member, tRIUNE, working on testing the Sega CD games so they probably wont be released now until October 15th - November 1st.

jlh : Sega CD had some real quality games in my opinion, plus a lot of the games are going to have better soundtracks than the other non cd games on the site.

The config screen looked familiar, so I just figured it was the one I most recently saw... but when I went into my version of Kega, I noticed it looked a little different. Very similar though. I didn't remember their controller config screens being so close.

That's a shame. It's a really awesome emulator that runs so many Sega systems. It sucks to find what isn't open sourced sometimes. That's something that becomes troublesome for Linux users at times too. Open source emulators get Linux ports or if not, you at least you can compile it yourself if you figure out how. That's better than nothing.

Crazy Li : Yeah I don't really understand why more emulator developers don't make their emulators open source. The only time I could see why you wouldn't want to make it open source is if you were charging money for it or wanted it to be exclusive to a specific site.

mrkoolnerd : it's actually currently not possible to swap discs with the RGR Plugin. When it is possible though, I'll have it so that you pay for all the discs at one time rather than having to pay for them 1 by 1.
