Hello guys !
Am I the only one to have issues with the european server on Netplay ? It says "failed to connect to server" and emulator closed while the windows keeps with "game loading", it's exactly the same when I'm trying to host on my own. It works with USA server (and sonikku's server) but I play with my nephew, we are both in France, so with the US server there is a bit of latency (in streets of rage, the guy punches 1/2 second after we hit the button). When I first started a netplay session (on europe server), a guy in the chat said "I can't connect to server", so I don't think the problem comes from me.
Congratulations for this netplay, even with latency it's very pleasant .

It's sad that when I remembered playing netplay before, there always is problems not only with lag, but input delay. Putting this into consideration as this is unavoidable, this is just like Super Smash Bros Brawl's massive problems with lagging and input delaying. I know this because whenever I play my first wifi match of the day, the game is super laggy no matter what I do. The wifi brawl does input delay and lag all the time, which is how people suck on brawl online most of the time. Yes, this is a netplay related problem and also relates to SSBB's wifi problems that are unable to get fixed.

Anytime in the near future that mame will be added for Netplay, that is begging for netplay. I found if people are having trouble with lag on netplay I found the standard usa server is the most reliable even if you live in Europe. Also a note for David happy to lend out my ip adress for netplay as I have a very good stable connection.

dragonslayer444 : Yeah the next plugin release will more than likely have MAME netplay. So many MAME games are designed for 2 or 4 players and many of them are coop. Not sure when the next plugin release will be though. I'm hoping to have it released in June but it could be as late as December.
