legacyme3 : The reason why the white cliffs of Dover are well white.. Is because they are generically believed to be ancient shelled creatures that lived millions of years ago... After many years the shells broke down into white sediment... or "chalk" if you want to keep it simple... and slowly the white cliffs where formed....

The reason why the white cliffs of Dover are white is because the sea erodes it slowly ... There is obviously places that are not white due to the fact the sea cannot reach it..

Also there was a lot of wars caused for by Scotland wanting independence from England. Which as you can tell they kind of have but i believe are still a Vassal to England. Hence the United Kingdom. 

I believe this is correct. Plus the fact that the Scottish don't really like anyone.

Although scotland had independence for about 600 years.
Then the scottish king was given the english throne in 1606.
And then england and scotland stoped existing in 1707 when the united kingdom of great britain was created.
Although on vassal, i certainly think its an unfair UNION, hence i oppose it.

Swedes are a variant on a turnip as they originate from Sweden.. durr... the are also more durable and can grow through winter whilst regular turnips can't... It's like how apples have different names and taste different but people them their given name etc... Granny smith or they just call it an apple

Soccer is American terminology but that's because they named a game football when it should clearly be called handegg...

But fair enough, its awesome.
Intresting fact its spelt like that because back in the day it was regarded as false advertising, theres no iron in it and its not brewd. So they changed the spelling to make it legal.
Oh, and uk currency is called the pound sterling.
scottish notes are different too, we dont have the queen on it, one side usualy has a great scottish architectural achievement on it, the other a famous scott.
I think irelands is different too, but still has the queen.

As for York i have been their but only for a dodge ball tournament so didn't really have time to take in the scenery.. Same with most places I've visited.. Even had to go Scotland twice

megmanmaniac : London is very populated being the capital of England it's expected. It's really busy and it's always full of traffic... It's great at night though (if you visit the right area's) and is also good if you want to do a lot of shopping. 

As for people that wear robes... I'm not really sure... I know that some posher schools make students wear robes... But it's not really something i can say for sure as no schools do anything like that near me. 

thenumberone : i was being serious but meh . McCoy's are good.... Depends what you value more though.... 12 bigger portions or 18 smaller portions in more varied flavours .

Big Ben was the first thing that came into mind... As for Leicester it'd probably be the town hall or something.... They are a few grade listed buildings.. But I'll be honest and say that architecture isn't really my thing...
