Xbox 360 has the best online community in my opinion but you have to pay although it is not much its still money out of your pocket lol. On the other hand PlayStation 3 has much of the same games and online play is completely free but you have to deal with more hackers and such. I've chosen to go with Xbox 360 mostly because I'm big into gaming online and it's worth it for me to pay the small fee to have a better gaming experience . Not to mention I like to play halo which is only on xbox 360 . I hope this helps you I think it just comes down to what kind of gaming you plan on doing to determine what system is best for you . Good luck!

I have an Xbox myself but after reviewing the differences, I think it would be hard to pass up on the PS3. Free online gaming and the ability to play blu-ray discs is a big advantage as far as I'm concerned. As the previous poster mentioned though, the Xbox live community is probably a bit more secure, and has different added features, but overall I guess you will have to ask yourself if that's worth $65. I myself prefer the xbox controllers over Playstation, but again let your own preference dictate your choice. I'm not big on the Wii and have never owned it, so naturally I don't have much input there.

The Wii meanwhile has more colorful and interesting  games of other genres (RPGs, Sports, Adventure, etc) than the other two and more popular titles for those genres besides. Also, Wii is very much a casual gamer machine these days where as a lot of the games on the other two focus heavily on hardcore audiences
