Hi there gamers!

This
article involves one of the nation’s leading video game supermarkets, Gamestop.
According to the CEO Paul Raines Gamestop is about to
finally take another direction in its expansion pack of sales. DIGITAL GAMES.
Yes that’s right Gamestop has originally only dealt in hard boxed resale sans such.
The big Kahuna wants to change the direction of Gamestop sales into a “growing
Market”.
As we
all know Gamestop has already cemented itself as one of the leading proprietors
of second hand resale’s but most would agree that the market is slowly evolving
into a digital market and Gamestop believes they would be passing on a great
opportunity that European counter markets have already engaged and had
successes in.
To further
this plot earlier this month a European court had just ruled that the second
hand sale of software is protected ensuring that the license holders of said
games can’t sue for the resale of its titles. Wow.
Raines
is quoted saying that there are a small few companies overseas and maybe at
home that have started doing this but declined to mention who as we wouldn’t want our competitors rushing in. Statistically
in 2011 Gamestop recorded almost 3 billion in sales due to second hand sales,
that folks with out a digital market was almost 30% of their total annual
revenue…wow again.

This is another one that needs to be reformatted. Otherwise a great article.
