Hey, I've been at this for a day or so trying to find a Growlithe west of the town with the first gym, but it's taking forever! I've run into a few of them, but I'm looking for a specific one. Female, either level 5 or 10 (It really doesn't matter as long as they're Female, but it is just a thing for me to have them at 5 or 10 when I first start the game), and also having Flash Fire. I haven't run into many Growlithe. Only Ghastly, Hoothoot, Pidgey, Bellsprout, Rattata, and that water bird Pokemon (I forget its name. Sorry).

So, I'm curious if someone can tell me the percentage or chances of finding Pokemon. They say you should of run into Swablu on one of the early routes as well, but I have had no such luck. Someone please tell me the chances of finding Pokemon. Thanks.

at the beginning of the game before prof oak it will say a website that might help you. it has a lot of information about this game. and ifyou need help with the evoulition levels and what levels pokemon learn moves and other information go to bulbapedia

haitamchouiekh : I use bulbapedia for most of my Pokemon needs, but since this is a hack and such I'm not sure how much they changed with the levels, evolution, and everything.

just to let you know this game uses generation 3 learnsets. and if you want to evolve your growlithe you have to get surf and  surf by sprite tower and a guy will give you fire stone.

hey you can get steelix and machamp. one guy trades you for abra for his machop in goldernod city 5th or 4th floor of the department dtore, and in violet city a guy will trade you bellsprout for his onix.                                              and quilava evolves into typhlosion at lvl 36 and meganuim evolves at lvl 32. you got them mixed up. and you dontneed o reply to ths one
