AuraBlaze :
TBH less ram generaly means its carying out a lot less in depth searches, making it easier for viruses to get through.

Microsoft will probably catch most of it though so its probably never going to be an issue

thenumberone : Well, on top of MSE, I utilize Web of Trust --which you mentioned to David I believe. It has been a great replacement for Norton's browser addon, blocking me from fully navigating to untrustworthy web pages. So not only do I have some protection, I also have assistance on the front lines.

I use norton360 I like the interface and it's only easy to make certain files, like games that haven't been downloaded by a huge population be took off the scanning as sometimes it will say the application is doing suspicious things which is annoying to see pop-up when your trying to install a game that has low traffic in down-loaders but its a quick fix and I like it! Before norton360 however I was using avast which in my opinion is just as good as norton360 both interfaces where really nice and easy to use nothing complex like AVG which I always delete off my computer if its per-programmed by some rookie store idiot.

I use AVG Free. It seems kind of simple. I tried other ones in the past but AVG Free seemed more simple and easier to use to me.

My family tried and tried and tried to locate an Anti-Virus that they liked. My parents tried out basically all of the "Top 10" suggestions at the time. Then my now-best friend then-boyfriend told me that he uses Avast! and that I should try it. Never quit using Avast! after that. It's been so helpful. Of course, we use MalwareBytes as back-up for Avast!. It's a wonderful set-up.

(FYI, Avast! was not widely known at the time that my family was trying to locate a working anti-virus scanner that we liked. This was several years back.)

My recommendation will always go to Avast!; it has saved my computers and my sanity repeatedly. (Especially when I'm working on friends' computers...)

I use McAfee.

I use it for like 3 or 4 years. Even though, I never use any anti-virus more than McAfee.

I use Norton 360. It can slow down my computer a lot sometimes, but other than that, it's working perfectly fine for me.

I use the ever so popular Norton 360. It can get quite expensive though, and I have to replace it every year. It works very well though. It has saved my computer from many problems.

Hello! How are you? ..

I use loads of anti-viruses on my computer! I use Norton 360, I use Avast and I use COMODO. All these are premium so I never get a virus, which is great! Also, I use different smaller programs such as malware bytes etc. They're good for detecting things so small that the anto-viruses cannot detect!

I use ESET smart security 6 which is the newest version that I just installed this month and it has a 2 year license. It works really well and it scans my computer and eliminates harmful viruses and quarantines them as well. This program really works great and it also makes my computer run really fast. It detects everything and then scans and eliminates it from my computer to get rid of the viruses. The scan takes about an hour or so depending on how much data you have stored, but it is worth it if you want to have a virus free system!
