Jordanv78 : I've got the controller working for the NES, Super NES, and Sega Genesis games now. But I'm having trouble with the Nintendo 64 games. (Don't worry about the Game Boy [Original, Color, Advance] games, I'm sure I can get the controller to work with them easily.) The Control Pad/left analog on my controller won't do what I set it to do. In Pokemon Snap, it won't move at all and in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, it keeps changing the camera angle (which the C-Buttons are supposed to do, I set those on the keyboard's arrow keys, that I can live with). Those are the only 2 games I've tried to work with the controller. Am I supposed to download that XPadder program (because I really don't feel like it) to get the N64 games to work with it? Am I supposed to set the second drop box (on the control config screen) to "USB Analog Joystick"? Tell what I'm doing wrong.

MarioMcFly : Forget Xpadder. All that does is let you emulate keyboard strokes for a controller. This is only helpful for the Java emulators that only let you use the keyboard for control

You need to have a controller with enough buttons to be able to work right with N64 controls. Part of the problem you are having is the N64 controller is totally different than any controller that was ever made, thus making it hard to get the controls exactly how you need them. This can be annoying at times. But yes, you need to configure the USB Analog Joystick to the joystick on your USB controller(Hopefully you have one) This can be kinda a pain, but you just have to be patient with it. Good Luck!

Well I had a PC controller a while back but now I wonder if A PS3 controller will function with N64 games really well........

justagirl789 : Have you tried it for both N64 emulators? One of them might be more compatible than the other. Also with 1964, have you configured the controls and it still isn't recognized?

acam : Have you already tested and calibrated the controller in your Control Panel to verify that it works?

I don't know if it's just me, but I tried bringing up the original link for it and it brings up an error page says it doesn't exist or something along those lines

Davideo7 : I cannot for the life of me, get my snes usb controller to work with my pc in any emulators or websites. I got it in the mail today and was so exited to start playing. It's been 5 hours of trying to make this thing work!! Xpadder won't work. I tried something else called joytokey(I think that's it..) and couldn't make it work either. Please help

Ok any way Ive been having a problem with my controls that I don't normally have for like 2 or three days now some times I works And sometimes It doesn't but there all work but the enter button like in super meteoroid phazon hack. To look at the map you have to hit enter and the same in Zelda both for SNES system. And I ve been all over the emulator settings that's on the vizzed rpg plug in. Oh and when I try to use one of my alt. Settings it dose not change. Any Ideals on how to fix my problem.

I've got my controller connected, my computer recognizes it and everything, but for some reason the RGR doesn't seem to think my controller is connected. I've been trying to use it for N64 games, it says is supports controllers, but when I go to the controller config menu, the options are "keyboard" and "not plugged in"

I've tried it on a few different N64 games, a Genesis game, and a GBA game, no luck for any of them. I'd appreciate any help with this.

i bought 1 of the cheap ps3 lookalikes and it worked fine until my 3 year old boy started smacking it on the floor,on keyboard until i buy a new 1,ive been told that you can use a ps3 controller,anyone know if this is possible?

Okay, so now it is working on just about everything except the N64 games and the Genesis. GBA NES and SNES are all working now. Still need help from anyone willing to give it.

darkdisciple13 : In order to configure the controls for N64 games you have to use the 1964 emulator. MUPEN doesn't not currently support controller configuration in the RGR.

What's the issue you are having with the Genesis emulator? Do you get an error when trying to configure?
