10 year old me would be kinda disappointed. My choices over the past few years have left me in a rut of sorts that I'm still trying to climb out of.

What a fascination question!  Honestly, I could go on for ages with this!  However, I think that....overall....my ten year old self would be very happy.  She would learn that she's achieved many of her goals: finding and developing a relationship with Jesus Christ, finding and marrying a wonderful man who loves her, and becoming a teacher in a very good school.

She'd be disappointed in mistakes she made in the future though, and there'd be several that she'd have a hard time believing.  I think she'd hate the place she ends up living in, and she'd be sad that she doesn't have children yet with the possibility of not being able to have any at all.

The ups far outweigh the downs however, so I think the downs would hardly be an area of focus.

And well, seeing as I've always been bubbly....Yeah, she'd be thrilled.

She'll just get confused I guess? I didn't have any dreams for my future when I was ten. All I know was that I need to be a good student so I could get a big chance for a bright future, and do stuff that I enjoy so I don't have regrets about not having the time to enjoy life later on. If she hears me blurting out stuff like I want to attend a conservatory or be a veterinarian for wild life but my parents refused those, so now I'm taking my third choice as a computer science student, I bet she'll either call me weird or ask why I didn't take my first two choices. Which is hard to explain to a ten years old, I'll just end up saying you'll know when you grow up. Because she'll probably not understand the reason. There are also other complicated things that had happened in my life that were rather pointless to explain to a kid.

haha!  Yes, she might be a little confused, but like I said, I think the overall consensus would be happiness and excitement.

I was a very strange child.  I knew what I wanted to do for a living since...well for as long as I can remember.  I want to say I first chose what I wanted to do on my first day of school.  However, I don't know if my desire to teach really went back that far.  LOL

And you're right, there -would- be a lot of pointless things not worth discussing.  I don't count mistakes in those however, because making mistakes and realizing them and repenting of them (or not) really build character and help to develop a sense of self.

I'm only twelve, so not much to cover there.

Well, he'd might just jump off of a cliff. He'd be happy that I have new friends.  Plus, he'd be happy that I'm skinnier, more atheletic. He'd be sad as all hell for...

His dad's job that he lost countless home hours on- gone.
Living in a craphole. (But he's lived in there all his life, he'd be fine)
Having confusedness about EVERY GOTDANG THING EVER. (Financials: Are we rich? Poor? Roor? Pich? goshdarn it middleclass, have a broader spectrum.)
Still being confused about whether his dad cares for his children or not. (Beats his children for no goshdarn reason, straightens up to the point where he's not beating us but still mostly is a general arsewipe, keeps us fed, clothed, buys us relatively nice things. WTF dad.)
Having people still call me racial slurs. (White N-word, anyone)
Not being able to intergrate socially in general.
...His dad, while having his job gone still busting everyone's arse. And he's 50.
AND A WHOLE CRUDLOAD OF OTHER STUFF.

But it wouldn't be too bad.

I think my ten year old self would be a mix of happy/disappointed.  I've done a lot of great things.  I've seen fantastic things and I've had wonderful experiences that make me happy.  I've also missed a lot of opportunities that could have made me better, smarter, stronger, and a more rich (culturally, not wealth) person.  I missed out on a lot.

I'd go back and tell myself to do everything and try everything.  I'd look at me and say, in Hawaiian, "imua!"

My ten year old self wouldn't even recognize me. Came along way from the chubby little kid I once was. Either way he would be to shy to talk to a complete stranger, really don't think my ten year old self would know I was him 10 years older. So I would have to go with freaked out...

Really if this was to happen wouldn't it drastically change the outcome by what you life is now? Wouldn't it screw with the very fabric of time? Making a loop hole by which you fell into. The fabric of time itself would split or fork off into different branches, each one in turn has the possibility of going back and telling their past self. Thus creating a endless loop by which you could never escape. In my eyes Time travel is by far to complicated for the human mind to ever grasp. Nonetheless a great mind opener, really got me thinking.

I'm only 14 years old so I would not know that much. If it was my younger self I would feel pretty embrassed.

My ten year old self is going to be very disappointed and possibly depressed of what's to come in her future. Hopefully knowing me, she'd use that glimpse of the upcoming future and not repeat the same mistakes.

I think my younger self would be disappointed. Lol. Not only because I am not doing nothing with my life, but also because what I am doing I am not doing well... making it barely worth my time. But c'est la vie. Such is life.
